- PhireN, on 05/29/2008, -0/+14I hate sites that helpfully resize my browser window.
Especially when its now bigger than my screen.
Oh, and apart from the resize script, its down.
Edit: Maybe just slow. - raublekick, on 05/29/2008, -0/+10Why is it that photographer websites are always the most annoying? I like going to flickr because it's just simple and focused on letting users find photos. But photographer websites are often times riddled with flash, uneasy to use navigation, and these awesome resize scripts.
- Owned1Up, on 05/29/2008, -0/+950 dkp minus for making the entire website out of non-user friendly flash. ...and it needs more dots.
- jkasquires, on 05/29/2008, -1/+8I hate ***** sites that ***** resize your browser! Burried!
- impreza, on 05/29/2008, -0/+5Down already!
- LostinJersey, on 05/29/2008, -0/+4the web site sucks. but the pics are good
- monoa, on 05/29/2008, -1/+5***** Flash site. Buried.
- elementop, on 05/29/2008, -1/+5Buried for YAGUoF (yet another gratuitous use of Flash) and Javascript that resizes my browser window (fixed in FF preferences).
- inactive, on 05/29/2008, -1/+4flash is like sludge in the modern day streamlined random access websites. (especially via digg onslaught)
- danceparty, on 05/29/2008, -0/+3not very impressive photos, actually. and prolly the person promoting their own site. lame. burry.
- PabloMac, on 05/29/2008, -0/+2Yeah, and their own site, too.
- galvo, on 05/29/2008, -0/+2Diggers sucking once again at digging good diggs.
- wwjbaby, on 05/29/2008, -0/+2down......
Who dugg? - psykosyd, on 05/29/2008, -2/+3hate when someone uses digg to promote there own site just for the hits
- ahff, on 05/29/2008, -1/+2I don't like the photos.
- tgelston, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1To travel and take photos of such beautiful places. . oh it would be nice.
- OneHandBandito, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1already down.
- raublekick, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1I understand that, but there's a HUGE difference between a nice looking site that makes your art stand out, and a nice looking site that is a navigational nightmare and annoys the users. And the Internet isn't the best place to display your art, really, given the multitudes of monitor sizes, resolutions, and color settings out there.
- AdamZC, on 05/29/2008, -0/+1grey boxes...awesome!
- inactive, on 05/29/2008, -1/+2The landscape shots are decent but everything else looks like a bunch of snapshots. Oh and for anyone else who has a photogoraphy site, DO NOT USE FLASH. Its the most annoying ***** ever especially the transitions. A flashy site is no substituate for bad photography.
- alvarezphoto, on 06/01/2008, -0/+0Hi my name is Stephen Alvarez, not Richard. This is my site. It is set up for Art Directors at ad agencies to look at, not for the general public. I have no idea how it came up on DIG. The traffic here does nothing for me. I do have a blog that is more interesting for general consumption
www.picturestoryblog.com
Please take a look at that. - LeonidasStokely, on 05/29/2008, -2/+2Because photographers value their art more than the speed of their site. They want to frame their pictures as well as possible and so would rather their site looked good than worked well. flickr is an appalling site for photography because it looks like a dentist's office.
Shameless plug that is marginally relevant to this thread: http://benpilkington.com - inactive, on 05/29/2008, -0/+0Sites real slow. anyone got a mirror?

What is Digg?
