  • rkymtnwoman, on 11/28/2008, -0/+5geez, I am so glad I am not a nurse anymore and giving people drugs I thought could hurt or kill them! I gave tons of heparin, zyprexa, vioxx, etc. Now, with the cheap azz drugs we are getting from china omg!
    It was bad enough to take an oath to help people and then have corporations and shareholders and insurance companies decide on who my patients are, how I treat them, and how many I have- all according to maximum profit. This just takes the CAKE.
    I remember telling a friend to get off his meds cause the side effects were so potentially terrible. He took my "good advice" and went to his Dr.- got switched to Zyprexa- within 1 week he wound up in the ER with acute pancreatitis and insulin dependent diabetes. He is dead now age 56. I left US health care that year.
    The year before my ex husband went to an ER twice in the same day with chest pain- was not admitted of course because he had no insurance! told he was okay and given motrin. Walked around with chest pain for 2 days until he collapsed and died of heart attack at age 46.
    ROT IN HELL AMA, DRUG COMPANIES, INSURANCE COMPANIES, HOSPITAL AND NURSING HOME CEO's AND ALL THE GREEDY LOBBYISTS! and POLITICIANS WHO HAVE CREATED OUR DARWINIAN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

Seeing that they don't think that CA drugs are good enough for the US, maybe the should have some sort of meaningful testing when the drugs come out of lax, ***** Chinese "factories".

  • secrity, on 11/28/2008, -0/+1WHY is this necessary? Heparin is a VERY old drug, it didn't have this contamination problem until relatively recently. WHAT is causing the contamination or adulteration?
