- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -9/+23That has to be one of the most worthless comments I have ever seen.
- cresswga, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Not quite. People who believe such things believe the Earth was created in 4004 B.C.
And if you read Neil Gaiman you would also know that it created was on 21st October 4004B.C. around 9.00am (give or take 15 minutes) because God likes to get his work done early in the morning while he was still fresh. - StingingNettle, on 10/11/2007, -4/+9Wow! 4,500 years ago! That' like 500 years after God created the earth!
- thorn101, on 10/11/2007, -6/+11I think it was a sarcastic comment intended as a jab to people digging stories just because the submitter uses certain words in the title.
It's funny and appropriate. - beneathbrooklyn, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5i saw this doc back in 2002 about a team of archeologists who sent small remote controlled robots up into the shafts that are present within the cheops pyramid. pretty fascinating stuff. anyway, they didn't find much except a few tools and spiderwebs. eventually the main shaft had a dead end that was some sort of door that had been sealed shut they theorized that it may be the location of khufu's tomb which has never been found. last i heard they were trying to get permission to drill through the door...
- Fr4nk2012, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6um so did everyone know that there isn't a single hieroglyph inside any of the three great pyramids and no evidence at all of them being tombs? In fact they only say that Kufu (cheops) had it built because his name was found on a carving outside of the pyramid, so by that reasoning I had my house built for me because my name is on the mailbox, and John F. Kennedy must have commissioned the building of the high school down the street.
- Just1nD, on 10/11/2007, -4/+8i thought it was hilarious
- cywar, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4"Last year members of the Anglo-Greek team probed the 2,000-year-old machine using a range of advanced imaging techniques and discovered that it was, in fact, an ancient analogue computer designed to model and display astronomical cycles."

There are many things about our history we dont understand. - Chaos12, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2One of my favorite archaeological wonders is if the Egyptians actually built the pyramids.
- Armitage2k, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1not only that... but do we really not have the technology today to build such buildings? Of course we do.... So these are not "Secrets of a Lost World" or "Lost Secrets of the World" or "Secrets At All".... No Dig.
- gettarat, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1i saw this doc back in 2002 as well.
http://pyramidsofgiza.org - Twango, on 10/11/2007, -6/+4No more worthless than exacerbating the problem by adding a worthless reaction.
- jwoelmer2, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0this is really awesome- just wondering, has anyone read "7 Deadly Wonders"? It's a really good action book about Matthew Reilly about the pyramids at Giza.
- mahdaeng, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3good point. in fact, there are certain theories that insist that shem, one of noah's son's, was the actual architect. don't know whether or not that's true, but it's a pretty interesting topic.
- Heembo, on 10/11/2007, -10/+5no digg for this not being about real "Lost TV Show" secrets
- chesbomb, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1and to think for all this time, i thought it was spelt gaza.
- sucks, on 10/11/2007, -44/+17dugg for using the word "of" in a title
