- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+41Scientology is evil and deluded and a pyramid scheme - what else is new?
Frankly, you can't expect people who believe in a religion funded on a bar bet(!) and who teach that psychologists are a species of aliens(!!) who've mind-controlled humanity for billions of years(!!!) to behave rationally. In anything. Ever. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+31Hubbard- Quite possibly the greatest con artist of all time
- NinjAlt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+29and now some classic Scientology research material for anyone who isnt familure with what it is.

Enjoy children! - rsvguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28Scientology is an evil cult. L. Ron Hubbard was a liar and a pederast.
Just more evidence that it should be banned and all the money confiscated. ;-) - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22Why do cults always pick up on losers? It makes me seriously consider not forming my own cult.
- smoothmedia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22I love it when people cite my work XD
- themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20Scientology doesn't relate to an art in anyway. It's just purely deceives people.
- rgov, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19Wait, what are the Scientologists doing with a Kevin Mitnick book?
- Nomad83, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I swear, 'Trapped in the Closet' should be required viewing in school so people dont get caught up in this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_Scientology_episode - charlie55, on 10/12/2007, -9/+18this just in: every religion is 100% based on lies and deception.
scientology is just like the rest. feeding people lies because they cant accept reality. if you are looking for lies, and religion gives them to you, you are the one to blame. - NinjAlt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8and everyone should thank smoothmedia for his informative YTMNDs which have brought the truth about scientology into the lime-light once again. NOW GET TO WORK ON ANOTHER SEQUEL! heh.
(PS: Love the work. Good job, keep it up.) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I just realized - what the hell is this doing in the Science section?
- darlok, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7i love a good cult story
- oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8cue: "guns n roses - welcome to the jungle" music.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4No, they cannot. Business has nothing to do with a religion in that regard and is not exempt from following the law.
- Nadav101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I dont get it, how people fall into that scam in the first place :|
"Trapped in the Closet" Sums up how stupid scientology is.
http://pic3.piczo.com/allaboutsouthpark/?g=3970152&cr=3 - pagit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I wonder if certain labour rights have been violated by "Church" of Scientology -unfair laobur practices, you can't work here unless you join our cult or at least not being upfront with what they are, spying on employees outside of work
Lawsuit ? - trueking7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Now let's see. If I was rich and/or famous, would I join Scientology because it seemed like the thing to do? I don't know ...maybe. I'm curious to hear what the rest of you think.
- AZNL473ncy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2There is no such thing as the best con artist in the world as they havent been caught yet.
- littlebylittle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good choice of music. Welcome to the jungle could have been written about Scientology. They ARE the jungle. They'll name YOUR disease (even if it's not real)!
"Welcome to the jungle
We've got fun 'n' games
We got everything you want
Honey, we know the names
We are the people that can find
Whatever you may need
If you got the money, honey
We got your disease"
Apparently they like to watch their flock bleed too (clarification of above post).
Wow. I had never heard that EarthLink was a Scientology front Org ... ahem ... I mean that its founder is a Scientologist http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earthlink - madinga, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Man, if I had the time I would put all my skill and talent to bringing down the con-artists behind these scams, and bankrupting them, or putting them in my private prison on a rock near the south pole...
Thing is, there are always enough dumb people out there who will fall for a scam. That's why we have spam. - littlebylittle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Watch it bring you to your
knees, knees
I wanna watch you bleed"

http://www.hollywoodinterrupted.com/archives/death_of_a_nethead.phtml - AZNL473ncy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Actually some of their beliefs are based on morals. But most are like you arent of my religion then I wage a "holy war" on you.
- shunthemask, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't know what people are thinking sometimes. Lets see, go to work for a creepy cult and act suprised when they stumble upon your myspace page? Hmm.
- rossdohan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There are a lot of "churches" around run by people like Hubbard. There are also a lot of political parties, free(?)masons mafias etc. I don't think that the problem is a belief in God but rather a belief in people pretending to have privileged contact with the Great Beyond. Lastly I am sure that if lying were made a crime (wake up Congress!) humanity would take one great swift leap towards happiness and betterment.
- Coestar, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4So, what's some good stuff religion has done lately?
- Edrick, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Today, children, we're going to be learning about "respect" and "tolerance".
- thee, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4Scientology recruits people using social engineering skills.
Oh wait they're not that smart! - marbahlarbs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Sorry, but you're going to get fired if you post comments about your bosses like this on your blog. It doesn't matter who you work for.
Scientologists are crazy, blah blah blah.

Johnny wants cake, but johnny can't have cake because he is a scientologist. It will make his ADD act up, ADD isn't real anyway according to tom cruise so I'm sure his spawn will be problem free. I wonder if I'll get to met him...maybe I'll teach his spawn how to draw a feckin BIRD!
The sun never sets on scientology! HA

In training we have to do these stupid "drills" to show we understand what we have read...cuz you know I work for crazy scientologists. ANYWAY all day, everytime I had to do a dril or even talk to the "instructor" about what I was learning I kept tearing up. AS soon as I get in my car to go home...the above coldplay song comes on the radio and I lost it. weird. I don't even really know why?
I feel like I work for tome cruise. I was watching a training video (yes I'm still in training) and Our founder mr. Larry Gluckers was talking about how the generations now are all druggies. Kids have trouble learning and parents are pressured to drug them by the school systems so they can handle the kids. ***** ADD....IT'S NOT REAL. NEITHER IS POST PARTUM DEPRESSION. NOBODY NEEDS DRUGS....PAY LOTS OF MONEY TO L.RON HUBBARD AND YOU WILL BE HEALED!!!!!! REAL MAGICAL LIKE.

UMMMMMMMMMMMM....I went to lunch today with aboot five other Mission Renaissance Newbies.
WE chatted about how we are ALLLLLLLLLLLL creeped out by our scientologist owners. We compared horror stories, we laughed, we bonded. It made me feel so much better knowing I am not going crazy...they really are ***** nuts. So I made friends. And soon I will be out of training and I won't really have to deal with them crazies. - LemonJuice, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Too bad that lawyer is a dumbass.
About the job suspension based on Pender's Internet writings, Greene says "That's a serious 1st Amendment issue."
Scientology isn't part of the government they can fire you for whatever reason you want. - Carlos1978, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Depends on how do you feel about the "Ignorance is Bliss" saying.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Mewithoutyou: Because if the Catholic church had pederasts, that'd make it OK for Elron to be one?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4God forbid the catholic church have any pederasts.
- gluesniffined, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1Hahaha, and Scientology is no more bizarre and based on mythology than any of them; all religions are 100% ***** and a complete lie and they ALL sound equally absurd to me. Religion is by far the worst plague on humanity and the biggest cause of mass slaughter and torture among humans.
Pick your poison; Aliens controlling you, mythical deities controlling you, schizophrenic 'prophets' that heard the word of god while holed up in a cave, a con artist that 'discovered' a lost book of the bible and he is the only one who can ever see it.....For the love of whatever god you worship, DRINK THE ***** KOOL-ADE ALREADY AND LET DARWIN RID YOUR GENES FROM THIS PLANET. - netmancer, on 10/12/2007, -12/+3Oh noes!! Something that sounded too good to be true on the Internet screwed you over!! Nah, can't be. The tubes don't lie.
