- SiNN4R, on 12/27/2007, -2/+49My stepdad will be happy to hear this as soon as we drag him off the floor and wake him up. I hope he doesn't hit me again. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep.

- f4nt0m4s, on 12/27/2007, -1/+21It is incredible what science has accomplished. Now let's get drunk!
- bigbill780, on 12/27/2007, -0/+19Homer: Yes Apu, ill have that new beer with candy in it... Skittlebrow.
Apu: Um, Homer, I think you may have dreamed that.
Homer: Well in that case ill have a 6-pack of Duff... and a bag of skittles. - BadseedJR, on 12/27/2007, -3/+21Why would you say that? I can guarantee most everyone on Digg knows who Ron Paul is already. All you're doing is making him look bad because of your lame, misplaced comment.
- luet, on 12/27/2007, -2/+17There's no way the drug is called "Peptide"... vaguest name ever.
Still, could you imagine if they made alcoholic drinks WITH peptide as well? - merripen, on 12/27/2007, -1/+16Oh hell yesh. Finally our tax dollarsh are going to applicable reshearch. *hic*
- ixnayonthadigga, on 12/28/2007, -1/+16www.google.com/search?q=define:sarcasm
- masterm1nd, on 12/27/2007, -0/+14I always knew booze and pills were a good combo ;)
- ringo380, on 12/27/2007, -0/+14It's actually called RSK, which is a peptide, but still not very descriptive I agree. I have autoimmune hepatitis, which means I have no control over my liver scarring and it's happened since before I even had the capability to drink alcohol, and I hate the fact that they are already "marketing" this to heavy drinkers and alcoholics.
Just one more reason for them to rationalize it. - Godlike, on 12/27/2007, -0/+10http://www.whitepages.com/search/Replay?search_id= ...
- Godlike, on 12/27/2007, -1/+11A 'peptide' in the medical sense is a chain of amino acids... the drug isn't called that, it IS that.
- kevma, on 12/28/2007, -2/+11Awesome reply. Alcoholism doesn't only effect the individual. Props for keeping it real.
- Barbosa, on 12/28/2007, -0/+9I'm convinced that at least some of the ron paul spammers are actually undercover ron paul haters who are trying to sink his campaign by making people annoyed of the constant repitition
- Matteos, on 12/28/2007, -1/+10I sense a great disturbance in the force... As if millions of alcoholics suddenly cried out in joy... and their livers released a collective sigh of relief... I feel something wonderful has happened!
- zonk3r, on 12/28/2007, -0/+9Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.
- inactive, on 12/27/2007, -1/+9Maybe they could make a beer with this already in it, ahhhh
- BadseedJR, on 12/27/2007, -0/+8This is possibly the most disturbing comment I've ever read... but I laughed either way.
- bowens44, on 12/28/2007, -1/+8Is this satire or are you really that stupid?
- bowens44, on 12/28/2007, -0/+7Alcohol isn't the only cause of cirrhosis and liver damage.
- ekSD, on 12/27/2007, -0/+7I'm off to get some Guinness.
Anyone want a pint? It's on me (and my liver, I suppose). - inactive, on 12/26/2008, -0/+6"Researchers stated that side effects are generally mild and may include: difficulty breathing, sweelling of the throat, coma and death. So please, ask your doctor about ********* today!"
- marciot, on 12/28/2007, -0/+6Ah, yes, but in this case the big corporate beer companies will gladly fund it. In fact, I imagine a promotion where each time you buy beer, you earn points towards a *free* liver repair.
- masterm1nd, on 12/28/2007, -1/+7It was only a matter of time before someone blamed this on America.
- purelithium, on 12/27/2007, -1/+7Let the boozing begin! Where's my whiskey?
- jscnet, on 12/28/2007, -1/+6Or, how about get rid of the 40% ? I'd much rather take my chances w/ an ***** on a cell phone than an ***** drunk. BTW: 40% is almost half -- think about it.
- Richandler, on 12/28/2007, -2/+7Phase 2 is sell Miracle Liver Cure
C'mon socailist digg, you learned this in highschool. - The_Dude, on 12/28/2007, -0/+5WTH, alcoholics have more utility to humanity that starving children. Even by utilitarian measurements. Check your math.
- borez, on 12/27/2007, -0/+4Sign me up

I'll be at every comment you make as long as you continue to post ignorant comments. You started this by making it personal. I intend to keep it up until you give up. Nothing can stop me. Where's your Jesus now BIATCH?
- inactive, on 12/28/2007, -0/+4Great news for ted kennedy, bad news for America.
- Po0py, on 12/28/2007, -0/+4Does this garantee the future of diggnation?
- dustysquareback, on 12/28/2007, -0/+4Well, this is *****. All that effort to drink myself to death, and I'll probably just get put on this *****.
- hakz, on 12/27/2007, -1/+5cool, who wants to go get drunk
- modnar, on 12/27/2007, -0/+3Yay! We can drink to unconsciousness without fear now...
Except for the whole brain damage part. - inactive, on 12/27/2007, -3/+6Guess how much it'll cost?
Chances are none of you will ever be able to afford it.
Notice how frequently these "breakthroughs" are made, yet they don't seem to materialize? Can't really if there's no one to pay for any of it. - musicNcats4ever, on 12/28/2007, -2/+5The biggest negative side effect of marijuana is the drug war.
- qbyte, on 12/28/2007, -0/+3They got mice drunk.
- ZxEfR, on 12/28/2007, -1/+4LOL....if you think the average Joe will ever get this kind of life saving technology then I have a bridge I wanna sell you.
- Elliuotatar, on 12/28/2007, -0/+3Want some rye? Course ya do!
- sdellboy, on 12/28/2007, -0/+3Alcohol has WAY too bad a press recently. All it has ever done to us is try and cheer us up...and help ugly people get laid.
- lennybird, on 12/28/2007, -1/+3Problem with drugs, is - yeah, they may fix one thing... But then they cause ten other problems.
- fractalman, on 12/28/2007, -2/+4He's really that stupid. Check his other comments, don't take my word. He's the worst kind of TROLL, a dumb TROLL. Don't feed the Troll.
- numlok, on 12/28/2007, -0/+2Cheers!
- luet, on 12/28/2007, -1/+3the drug isn't RSK, it blocks RSK
- luet, on 12/28/2007, -0/+2well when I read the article I thought it said "One group was then given a drug called a peptide to block RSK while still receiving the toxin", which is why I said "vaguest name ever".
