- Dingc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1*cough* BS *cough*. Besides, it's not like the flu virus pulls a Sam Fisher and sneaks in my room. You catch it from being around people. That's why I wear my spacesuit around other people! I even wear it when I'm having sex... okay, who am I kidding, I don't have sex.
- bryancharles, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3looks like kevin is gonna lose that "100% stories on homepage" stat...
go ahead, i'm expecting that -2 - MrMysterious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Bubble Boy called, he wants his filter back.
- dpk87, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1lookes like a space-age toaster.
- foxhoundadmin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1what about worms? does it get rid of worms? that's where the real problem's at. :|
- chosenone-, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Bah, I want my viruses.
- Ruckus21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Mr. Rose please, after the ionic breeze fiasco (as "reported" on diggnation) you're willing to have a huge leap of faith? Fool me once...
- reidypeidy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thought this was talking about computer viruses getting zapped out of the air, too bad :( . Still a cool product though, if it works.
- jool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That is sooooo gonna give you cancer, or make you allergic to everything. So I predict that it is going to be very popular in all developed countries where we aren't being killed by war or disease.
- cheesy1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Big deal. So does my vacuum cleaner.
- dimatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I havent gotten sick for the last 3 years, i dont need anything :)
- ezkiel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you read the article. This offers not much of a real advantage since your probably going to get sick from not washing your hands or being sneezed/coughed on. May as well get your immune system in shape.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0screw this, my immune system needs practice. bring on the viruses!!!!
- oldcyborg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Short of turning into a Howard Hughes type, nothing is going to stop people from congregating(sp). and there is where the bugs are! Everywhere. Do, you know why hospital workers are healthier than most of us?>? THey are constantly exposed to small doses of bugs, and gain acquired immunity due to it.
They can get the stuff their kids bring home from school tho', since it isn't usually in the Hospital...But generally speaking, they do better because of constant exposure!! Hard to believe isn't it?? I think it is true... I just won't swear to it. ehehehe
I use air filters and other devices to get tobacco smoke out of the air, so that people in my home don't get all iffy about it. Nothing works VERY well, except those little puff things, that puff deoderant every few minutes!! And they are simply disguising the smoke smell.
All the Ionizers and air flow filters with charcoal and such, don't remove enough of the stuff in the air to be of value. And I have some expensive ones, too!!!
My computer is NOW the quietest thing in my office. You can't hear it all, for all the fans running. hehehe

NAY!! - thenativeraver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sharper image anyone?
- multifaceted, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I so want one of these. I'm one of those people can be called sickly, so if that thing can do what it says I want it.
- DrRo183, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Kevin, you big baby. Afraid of getting a little sick are you? *COUGH* There! The 'cleaner' people want to be from bacteria and viruses, the sicker they get. And if they succeed in eliminating the germs from their homes, then in the long run, when they get sick...it gets worse. So...WTF?!?
- nabilanwar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cmon kevin, stop going to engadget.com for all your news. There are other sites u know, lol.
And according to engadget Ionic breeze got in court trouble for actually harming the air with too much ozone. So dont get too excited with this product. - mtupker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If everyone bought one of these it going to do nothing but stunt people immune system.
- llnk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol i was thinking of wifi viruses.
- redwards, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm confused. The article disparages the product, but the poster here doesn't. Is he calling ***** or is he buying one?
- sgtawol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Bleh. Germs are GOOD! Remember when Europeans came over and killed half the Native Americans with their germs? That's where the sterile approach leads. If you dont get exposed to a few colds every now and again, your immune system gets lazy. I have an aunt who is a psycho cleaning nutjob, and her children are sick all the time because whenever they leave their disinfected house, their immune system isnt ready to handle the massive amounts of germs that exist in the world.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0isnt that guy from diggnation?
- nene7070, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Nemsis.. if u listened to diggnation, ud know the answer was "duh" :)
