but hey! nice article. - gcnaddict, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8"Prehistoric Greek Water Works Found"
It's not prehistoric. The Ancient (proper word) Greeks were renowned for keeping track of history. Herodotus is a good example. It's still pretty neat though. - craftyguy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Sounds like a grease fire (no pun intended)...
- MrTea, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5pics or it didn't happen!
- str3ama, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Now if only they can find the secret to "Greek Fire", which was supposedly a lost and secret recipe the Greeks used to create a fire that could not be put out with water, and adding water supposedly only made the fire worse (obviously we know that you'd put it out with sand), but back in the ancient times they used it for igniting catapult fodder and pouring it down on potential siegers.
- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+3So does this count as an aqueduct? If so, the Greeks had it before the Romans. The Romans were so influenced and inspired by the ancient Greeks (hell, we are still today), if we discover that the Greeks also had concrete before the Romans I wouldn't be surprised.

"Ancient Ringtone - Send this complimentary ringtone to your phone right now!"
Would this be a ringtone from '99? Go ahead, dig me down.. - str3ama, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1no it's still a mystery to this day. Some say that it was most likely some sort of oil - but it still yet to be proven empircally.
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Dugg up to counteract the digging down by people not understanding the classic reference to Monopoly.

- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1ehh not sure about that one man
if only it wasn't built mid-13th century B.C but.
maybe just maybe - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I thought it was a water park in ancient Greece.
- PeteBeast, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0All this while Greece is burning. Dey gud arkiologist.
- rome420, on 04/29/2008, -0/+0old and archaic doesn't instantly equate to prehistoric. interesting article though
check out Rhodes.com for more articles and images - BossKey, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0If the Mycenean civilization built it, is it truly "prehistoric?"
- cuoops, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1I hate reading from Physorg.

- smilu, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1dats nice
- Jarbow, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0This bronze age site predates Herodotus by more than 700 years. The Mycenaeans did employ the Linear B system of writing to keep livestock records and such, though. So it's arguable whether they were "prehistoric".
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0How could that possibly get dugg down? It's a true statement, it's not like you can argue against it.
- faizal5k, on 10/10/2007, -7/+1Did somebody say McDonalds?
