- ArcticWolf_0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No hits, and bit one bullet. I have to say, it was very thought provoking.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm sorry I stated "God does not exist." And that should be the last of it. But instead, it keeps asking about god this and god that, specifically "Any being which it is right to call God..." blah blah. WTF?? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Logic my ass. more like manipulation and setting up some kinda strawman.
lame, no digg. - TuxFan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I got 3 hits. Too bad the test seems to lean on fundie religion rather than Deism. Oh well. At least I'm not whining that the site bashs Deist like fundies would once they took a hit.
- iknezek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1interesting game, I got no direct hits and bit two bullets. I also got the TPM medal of distinction, which is the second highest medal of distinction. It's a very interesting test, though biting bullets seem to occur simply because you have different opinions from most people, not because there are any logical fallacies. Anyway, cool little test.
- illynova, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1(I know the previous comment was a logical fallacy... shoot me)
But here's what I got:
You've just taken a direct hit! Earlier you agreed that it is rational to believe that the Loch Ness monster does not exist if there is an absence of strong evidence or argument that it does. No strong evidence or argument was required to show that the monster does not exist - absence of evidence or argument was enough. But now you claim that the atheist needs to be able to provide strong arguments or evidence if their belief in the non-existence of God is to be rational rather than a matter of faith.
The contradiction is that on the first ocassion (Loch Ness monster) you agreed that the absence of evidence or argument is enough to rationally justify belief in the non-existence of the Loch Ness monster, but on this occasion (God), you do not. - illynova, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very cool. I got one hit and no bullets... after thinking about it, the argument it presents for more hit make sense.
I tend to pride myself on the fact that my spirtual beliefs are based mostly in logical fact, but still what I feel (Buddhist but with the belief of multiple lesser Gods ala Hinduism)
