- dargon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This reminds me of a place near where I grew up known as spotted lake. The lake has an enormously high mineral component to it's water, and during the summer months, evaporation causes the minerals to crystalize and form a mineral crust that has a spotted appearance.
