- onegoodsoul, on 05/25/2009, -2/+33The birds were there first. Dont' blame them.
- decet, on 05/25/2009, -5/+32Some of these also show aircraft damage to wildlife.
- ButterBuddha, on 05/25/2009, -1/+27I think the server just hit a flock of birds...
- simplyintricate, on 05/25/2009, -2/+10Looks like it's about to go down so here's a mirror:
http://rorr.im - MCA2142, on 05/25/2009, -0/+6Dr. Jones senior and his damn unbrella...
- FlareHeart, on 05/25/2009, -5/+11All of you people complaining that "we are intruding on Nature, and this should be pictures of Aircraft Damage to wildlife" you guys need to pipe down. These are pictures of AIRCRAFT that have been damaged. Until I see a bunch of pages of disemboweled and pulverized birds, this is not about nature (yes I understand that there are a couple of images of birds, but only a couple). Does it really matter about the semantics of the statement? Please just read the article if you are interested. Digg it if you want others to see it, and bury it if you think it's stupid.
I am a Nature advocate as well, and I love animals and it pains me to see that we are destroying their habitats and homes, but please; these pictures are just that...pictures. If you guys detest this so much that you think commenting here is going to make a difference, why not go out and engineer a way for nature and humans to live in harmony? Until then, stop bitching about it here since it's not going to make one whit of difference. - inactive, on 05/25/2009, -0/+5...does this mean animals are terrorists?
- diggnidy, on 05/25/2009, -2/+6it's flight 815
- johndavidjack, on 05/25/2009, -0/+4Geese must die.
- thaprinze, on 05/25/2009, -1/+4Be on the lookout...
http://imagehost.vendio.com/a/3611108/aview/Birdys ... - Wawin, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3duck, duck...GOOSE
- DulcetTone, on 05/25/2009, -1/+4We didn't arrive shrink-wrapped via Fed-Ex. We ARE nature.
- DulcetTone, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3Why can't these birds file a damn flight plan?
- vroom101, on 05/25/2009, -2/+5MIRROR from the Internet Archive:
http://web.archive.org/web/20060618070210/wildlife ... (web.archive.org/web/20060618070210/wildlife.pr.erau.edu/Pictures.htm) - vegr, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3Wait... are you complaining about a comment?
- BossKey, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3There's...something...on the wing!!!
- D14852001neko, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2or moles =\
- hawk196, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2down already
- FattyMagee, on 05/25/2009, -1/+3I knew bird strikes were for bad business but christ, I didnt think they could almost rip a wing off of a god damn airplane.
- ASfinkterSezWut, on 05/25/2009, -1/+3Well done rant. Unfortunately, this is Digg, and the whole meaning of this site is that people get to say whatever-the-***** they want about the articles.
Complaining about the comments is pointless - paraphrasing and shamelessly ripping off your own statements.... " if you see one you don't like and if you want others to see it, bury it if you think it's stupid." " Until then, stop bitching about it here since it's not going to make one whit of difference. "
. - Firespray1138, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2WTF
- fuzzybeard, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Can't tell; the cooling fan for the server ate a goose.
- fuzzybeard, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Believe it. F=ma=chucking something through an airplane's fuselage and/or engine=crash.
- fuzzybeard, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1@ ButterBuddha:
Actually, I think it hit a flock of seagulls and ran; ran so far away. - ZhiZaki, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1It was kinda cool how the C-130 hit an America Bald Eagle.... ya know... they both fly and stuff.
- newdigger, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Is that what I think it is?!?!
http://wildlife.pr.erau.edu/pics/eagle2.jpg - fuzzybeard, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Then they must be cleanes and dressed; then into the oven for a good roasting!
- hawk196, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1that bird left a mighty clean incision in the left wing of that one plane.
- jpl7986, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1you're a bit too late on that one...expect to be buried...sorry.
- phosphite, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Geese honk to let the airplanes know they're coming, but the airplanes just run them over. What *****!
- jpl7986, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1link is down, no pun intended
- ASfinkterSezWut, on 05/28/2009, -0/+1What, who? me? ... you may be right vegr (shouldn't that be VGER - Star Trek I assume), but I never let the truth get in the way of my obsessive-compulsive need to spout on about that which I have nothing to say.
P.S. Complaining about my hypocricy will not make a whit of difference. - diggmeordie, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1Highly offensive and hilarious.
- ZhiZaki, on 05/24/2009, -1/+1http://wildlife.pr.erau.edu/Pictures3.htm <--- Cockpit impact.... Scary *****.
- aeroameet, on 05/25/2009, -1/+1Go Riddle!!!
- ASfinkterSezWut, on 05/25/2009, -2/+1Dugg for truth intuding on everyone's "OMG! , WOW!! Look at that poor aircraft! "
- inactive, on 05/25/2009, -4/+2I saw a special where some bug had nested in the speed sensor tube and cause a plane to crash.
- marx2k, on 05/25/2009, -4/+2Next up: Windshield damage to insects
- davidwasman, on 05/25/2009, -10/+7We're the ones intruding on Nature. The title should be: "Pictures of Aircraft Damage to Wildlife"
- Nicoon, on 05/25/2009, -12/+7Don't you mean "Aircraft Damage to Wildlife"?
