- 0crabby0, on 10/12/2007, -3/+25In college we'd go out at night and cut open light sticks, then pour all the ingredients into a spray bottle, crack open the hydrogen peroxide capsules(to make them glow), then spray our names and messages on the sides of buildings.
Looked really cool four about 4 hours or until daylight.
When daylight came - no messages :)

To me this is sad because as a teacher I deal with misconceptions all the time. Does anyone who dugg this stuff know what a galaxy looks like?

I thought it would be cool to make a device that puts the fluids in the toilet every time you flush. No need for a night light. Also, try this. After your glow stick dies. Crack it open and put it in a glass. Put it in the microwave for 3-5 seconds it will light up again for a while.
