Patches offer a glimpse inside secret military projects

- Jovensdesciple, on 04/02/2008, -14/+9Dugg down for being pro-military, unless it was anti-military, in which case i dugg it up... because i am a tool too.
- danconia, on 04/02/2008, -13/+8Great, government secrets with their own little "senses of humor"... that's EXACTLY what we need this time around, isn't it?
Gosh I seem to remember some of this "sense of humor" not being very funny when the world saw those photos from Abu Ghraib.- DonalNY, on 04/02/2008, -3/+8Yes, our soldiers need to be robots and show no traits of actual humanity.
Jeez, man. You know, there are some break throughs in surgery that can remove that rod from your ass. Most of them coming from secret military projects.- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -3/+2"Yes, our soldiers need to be robots and show no traits of actual humanity."
What do you think basic training is all about? And isn't the military always talking about how they can put things up someone's ass from miles away? When did they start projects to remove things from asses? Links?

- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -17/+5Front page at 28 diggs. Nice. Why was my post about how the CFR controls the media ( http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/How_the_Council_ ... ) removed from the upcoming videos (it was #4, also #1 in upcoming videos for the election) when it had 43 diggs? Interesting algorithm you have, digg. Oh, that's right, I mentioned Ron Paul. Damn, I knew I did SOMETHING wrong.
- sanjack, on 04/02/2008, -6/+8Oh shut the ***** up with your Ron ***** Paul. Jeez.
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -8/+3What do you have against Ron Paul? What has he done to make you (and so many others) upset? All I mentioned was that he was the only candidate (besides Ralph Nader now) who isn't affiliated with the Council on Foreign Relations. Does that make you angry?
- bluewar, on 04/02/2008, -8/+4I just logged in to tell you. SHUT THE ***** UP! This story is not about Ron ***** cry baby Paul!
***** it dude! - trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -6/+4Wow, that's a lot of hostility for your first comment on digg. Reported.
- yojiffyskippy, on 04/02/2008, -4/+4I think the hostility comes from all you Ron-bots spamming every possible completely unrelated post to digg. Give it a rest. Worship him if you like but he is not everyone's messiah.
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -3/+2Which CFR candidate do you plan on voting for, skippy? Let's get back to the real issue, which is not Ron Paul, but why this post got front paged at 28 diggs, and the truth behind digg's algorithm.
- bluewar, on 04/02/2008, -8/+4I just logged in to tell you. SHUT THE ***** UP! This story is not about Ron ***** cry baby Paul!
- DonalNY, on 04/02/2008, -4/+1You think Ron Paul's not CFR?
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -4/+2Yes, I know for a fact he is not CFR as quoted by Ron Paul himself ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV_AML16tC8 )
By the way, when he says he has been waiting for his invitation take note of the laughter, and the clapping at the end when he says "no, I am not a member."- yojiffyskippy, on 04/02/2008, -2/+1Well if HE said it then it must be true. Politicians are truth tellers.
- DonalNY, on 04/03/2008, -0/+1You expect him to come out an admit it? Do you know what "covert" means?
It must have never occurred to you that the PTB can bring up their own "rebel" to try and distract us and draw our attention. How much time energy and money has been sunk into his "quixotic" campaign?
Don't kid yourself. He did exactly as he was ordered to and the Powers That Be couldn't be happier with him.
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -4/+2Yes, I know for a fact he is not CFR as quoted by Ron Paul himself ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV_AML16tC8 )

- JimmyG21, on 04/02/2008, -2/+4buried for whining.
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -3/+2Do you have anything intelligent to say about the CFR? Or digg's algorithm? And how was I whining? I merely questioned digg's algorithm which seems very odd these days with getting certain posts front paged at a low amount of diggs. This has been questioned by other users, I just noticed it and thought I would make a comment about it.
- geek22, on 04/02/2008, -2/+1omg...your really ***** up...
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -3/+2What? Once again, does ANYBODY have any reasonable argument to support the CFR and their role in placing candidates into power and controlling the mainstream media? Please, enlighten me. Or just bury my comments in hopes that it will all just go away, stick your fingers in your ears and repeat "LALALA I'M NOT LISTENING."
- yojiffyskippy, on 04/02/2008, -1/+1Digg needs a "Whining Front Page Police" section.
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -2/+2No, digg just needs to stop front paging things that are completely worthless. How are you any better than me? At least I have brought up reasonable dialog, every single comment in response to me has been completely pointless and derogatory.

- skillfull, on 04/02/2008, -2/+2The book's title? "I Could Tell You but Then You Would Have to Be Destroyed by Me," published by Melville House.
an instant classic ;) - DryerCombo, on 04/02/2008, -3/+3Buried because of Insane Clown Posse.
- skaredsic, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1The Wraith would not appreciate you burying him.
- maximus434, on 04/02/2008, -0/+12Clearly all weather baloon projects
- fightclub, on 04/02/2008, -4/+10Is there a patch for Bush screwing up in Iraq?
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -2/+4Yes, Democracy 2.0 is supposed to be coming out later this year, but from what I've heard it's closed-source. Of course this means we don't get to choose what goes into the patch, and none of the developers will give us any firm answers as to what they are going to "change" in the upcoming patch.
- ccxftw, on 04/02/2008, -1/+1So our government is made by EA?

- travis1982, on 04/02/2008, -2/+0I can somewhat understand everyone but the smiley face, what the ***** is that? We make threats not promises? How can you make threats when your mouth is all zipped up! god I'm so confused.
- DonalNY, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1Its in reference to anti-aircraft measures
- StaticThunder, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1The weapon is silent. Lots of other things are behaving like threats.
- trumpydumpy, on 04/02/2008, -3/+3The only thing I find funny about these patches is how the atomic mushroom cloud on the last patch totally looks like a psilocybe cubensis mushroom. Mmmmmm, psilocybe cubensis.
- noahhoward, on 04/02/2008, -0/+3I think that one is supposed to be a mushroom.
- Shagisley, on 04/02/2008, -0/+2shhh you are going to freak him out!
- noahhoward, on 04/02/2008, -0/+3I think that one is supposed to be a mushroom.
- lashepherd, on 04/02/2008, -0/+2Sure...just like looking at my underwear gives you a glimpse of what I had for dinner.
- Delphium226, on 04/02/2008, -0/+2That was an over-share.
- yojiffyskippy, on 04/02/2008, -0/+4You had a very small penis for dinner?!?!?!?
- youtellme8, on 04/02/2008, -5/+4The US military is a cult like any other. The vocabulary, sense of humor, sleep deprivation, and breaking down of new recruits is classic cult behavior.
- DonalNY, on 04/02/2008, -0/+6Dude, you just described my time in the IT industry.
- BobEwell, on 04/02/2008, -3/+4"The vocabulary, sense of humor, sleep deprivation, and breaking down of new recruits is classic cult behavior."
The military does that to weed out the people who can't handle the stress of the military life.... Dumbass - vesendak, on 04/02/2008, -3/+2I would vote you up a million times but they only let me have the one. BobEwell double Dumbass on you.
- scairborn, on 04/02/2008, -2/+4***Comment Redacted***
- craighoxton, on 04/02/2008, -3/+2Where's the unit patch for the Ghost Recon squad?
- noahhoward, on 04/02/2008, -3/+3I'm pretty sure half of those aren't for any secret projects. The Grim Reapers, for example, are a fighter squadron IRC.
- svejoh, on 04/02/2008, -0/+2"To serve man" -- it's a collection of recipes ...
http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2008/03/31/scienc ... - BohicaTwentyTwo, on 04/02/2008, -0/+4The mushroom one is cool. Semper En Obscurus, Always in the Dark.
- avidday, on 04/02/2008, -1/+1I think they have the description wrong for the one "Desert Prowler". It clearly has a roman numeral 9 on the left and an 11 on the right, so it's probably special forces in Afghanistan immediately after 9-11.
- ansatsu29, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1some of the patch logos stink in the design...I expected uber cool patches for this secret military projects....
- riddlebox, on 04/02/2008, -0/+2Desert Prowler is also "The Wraith :: Shangri-La" the first of two in the the joker card albums from Insane Clown Posse. If you need a picture please look at this link here. The difference between the two wraiths is the one with clouds has open palm with fingers down meaning "Please come" while the wraith for hell's pit (flamed background) its got fingers up with open palm meaning stay away, or "stop" do not go further.

Gee...sounds kinda like the internet - duality, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1I think that the details are really what will eventually give these things away, even though most of them are quite subtle (so that their true meanings aren't apparently obvious). For example, on the ninth patch in the slide show, the one that has a "buster slash" through a fake nose and glasses affair, there are also four stars on the sides of the design. The upper star on the right side is black, while the other three stars are white, even though all four stars otherwise appear to have the same prominence in the design. Subtlety at its strongest, as no one will be able to interpret the meaning of this without intimate knowledge of the project it represents.
- DonalNY, on 04/03/2008, -0/+1"the one that has a "buster slash" through a fake nose and glasses affair, there are also four stars on the sides of the design."
Setec Astronomy is also a reference to the movie Sneakers. Its an anagram for Too Many Secrets.
- DonalNY, on 04/03/2008, -0/+1"the one that has a "buster slash" through a fake nose and glasses affair, there are also four stars on the sides of the design."
- XZanatos, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1I see they didn't include the Stargate Program patch. Now a REAL one of those would be cool!
- blipblipbeep, on 04/03/2008, -1/+1i feel repulsed by all armys, navys, air forces and secret servises. all over the globe. the only ppl that can kill other ppl and get away with it. and we tell our kids to look up to our peers. grow up war pigs.
- rframpton, on 04/03/2008, -1/+0Shut up you pussy
- DonalNY, on 04/03/2008, -1/+1You write like a third grader, speak in massive generalizations and babble on aimlessly about our children.
Ya, and we need to grow up.
