Search dig for Jesus Ice if you don't believe me.
If it's an intentional dupe submission, stop being a ass-hat.
Multiple submissions of different mirrors of the same story don't help any debate REGARDLESS of what side of the debate you're on. It just makes you look like an idiot, for not knowing how to search for duplicates.
Seriously...are we going to get a digg submission for EVERY news source that mirrors this story?! - LucasOman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4... and they say that Christians have to make a stretch to disprove evolution.

http://digg.com/science/Sure_Jesus_walked_on_water,_but_it_was_probably_frozen. - illchainsaw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That silly Jesus, he's always pulling pranks like that...
- GravityMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Read only the first chapter of each gospel and you'll find very obvious contradictions (regarding his birth and the census, and where they lived before Jesus was born). That verse you quoted supports the water theory, and thanks for quoting it here, but to me, it doesn't prove or disprove anything either.
- GravityMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I saw this story on the news this morning. It doesn't prove or disprove a thing. It's just idle speculation.
Besides, if the sea were frozen, how did the boat get out there? That would mean the disciples used a chariot to haul their fishing equipment out onto the ice. Maybe they were out ice fishing -- using gas -powered augers to drill the holes, from dinosaurs they hunted part-time while not busy discipling. - djdole, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hervey:
Why insist that everyone believe what you believe?
If your faith is so strong, why does it matter to you what other people think?
(..oh look...I can copy and paste too) - dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Haha, I'm glad you got the spirit of this post.

- djdole, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sorry, I meant in the title of Digg submissions.
Then you'll find most of the dupes.
I'll admit that by just searching for "Jesus" and "Ice" will return EVERY dig story where Jesus and/or ice is mentioned in either the title, description and or comments. (So your search WOULD bring up all the dupes, but you'd have to read through ALL the results....not just the first page.) - GravityMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Agreed, Lucas. I don't understand why this "story" was even appearing on a major network television station. CBS was the station I saw it on, by the way.
- frameanalysis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I guess we know where the next site for the winter olympics will be....watch out galilee here comes the olympic torch!
- norml2000, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Because do you know of anyone that can walk on water? Video proof would be great.. If he could walk on water, I'm sure he could have videotaped it.
- hervey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Please read this verses linking to this story...

Verse:
- The Ship was in the middle of the sea. How can anyone walk in an ice patch in the middle of the sea, floating unto the ship?
- Isn't ice is slippery? How much more if it is in the water?
- The Winds are Strong and The Waves.
- verse 25: JESUS walks. Not float and wait till the ice patch come near the ship.
- verse 27: It says "talk" not "Shout". It means He was nearing them.
- verse 28: Peter asked if he also can walked on the water, It's obvious there's no ice on the sea! because if there is, I'm sure they know that ice and water is different. Solid and Water? Ice and Sea? If it is a floating ice, I'm sure he wont say "Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water."
- verse 29: Peter was actually walking on the water!
- verse 30: He only began to sink when he is frightened by the strong wind.
- verse 31: "And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him," as you can see it's hard for one man to pull another man from the water without a stable platform.
and to continue "and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?"
-WHY DOUBT?
