Older Americans May Be Happier Than Younger Ones

washingtonpost.com — The studies show that when you check on how happy people are at various ages, the elderly generally come out ahead.

  • tomasII, on 07/15/2008, -2/+1Not surprising...the younger generations seem to have a feeling of entitlement. They rely on others for their happiness and can't seem to get the concept of self reliance and personal responsibility.

    That's why so many want to rely on the government to take care of them when the government seems totally incapable of making a single program work well. Examples, medicare and social security. God forbid they try to make a government healthcare system work....Just another recipe for disaster and another ploy to make folks rely on goverment for their wellbeing.
