- AndrewMayne, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Dugg because it's about monkeys.
- pAiNiNtHeAsS, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I thought they found a genius monkey. =|
- Roger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Cool. The more monkeys the better.
- synaesthesia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9The mohawk is kinda neat but let me know when they find one that can roll joints and open beers. No man can ever say he is truly happy until he owns such a monkey butler.
- drog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Who clicks a link with the headline, "New genus of African monkey found" to mention that they don't care about monkeys?
- jayf, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Quick, get it drunk! We need to know if this monkey also behaves like humans under the influence.
- dj_sea2005, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6now... wheres that vodka?

- Sazime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's pretty cool that we're still finding creatures we've never seen before. Good stuff.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I thought it really was about a smart monkey and later found it to be genus instead of genius. LOL!
Interesting, news, just shows that we humans still know nothing much about animals. - Lewie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Michael Crichton is a genius! He can write about anything and make it good! But I agree, it would be more interesting if it were a threat to the human race.
- captainjy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Correction- Scientists have discovered a new genus of monkey and have aptly named him Ken Kutaragi, the first for 83 years. The Rungwecebus kipunji sports a distinctive Mohawk stripe of hair, and is found in Japan. The monkey, first described from photographs last year, was originally thought to be offering a new, next-gen console, but tests reveal it is nothing special.
- Kamic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It’s amazing how we are still finding new mammal discoveries, although the oceans have the most discoveries, it’s the land animals we interact with! Hopefully we keep finding more interesting species; we can not protect the unknown from us humans.
- vegasbright, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Cool! more species of Pak breeders.
Sorry, just finished reading Ringworlds Children.
Now we need to find Tree of Life roots. - MariusP, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Monkey are always cool!!!
- kKhan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2But is it funky?
- vegasbright, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Ahhh - the true nature of a tool user, the Doob roller.
- lateralus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No special skill-set. No threat to human. Michael Cricheton can't write about it (or can he?). No digg!
- TheCount, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can someone ban this idiot?
- Simply_J, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The article doesn't mention if we can put them into giant plexiglass spheres and make them roll around.
If we can't use them to play real world Super Monkey Ball, then what's the point?
Feh. No Digg. - adml_shake, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"But I agree, it would be more interesting if it were a threat to the human race."
Your thinking just like they want you to.... - Roger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2All the best ones do.
- Dufresne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is it just me, or is the video on that site so bad quality you can't see anything?
- qedx, on 01/11/2009, -0/+1oo monkeys
- leqin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it sort of reminds me of that old saying that if you have enough monkeys on typewriters then eventually they will type Shakespeare.
on the other hand get enough Digg users together and eventually one will start bytching about the spelling and half a dozen will all moan because they think its a dupe and one of them will bang on for sentence after sentence after sentence all in a effort to make themselves sound like they know it all anyway or that everything can be explained via intelligent design apart from themselves because anybody reading them can see when god designed them he forgot all about the intelligent part. - super_spyder, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1that monkey doesn't look that big, I'll bet i could kick its ass... then it wouldn't think it was so bad ass.... in fact my kid could kick its ass and il get a bumper sticker about it "my kid can kick your genus monkeys ass" alas, only in a perfect world.
- supercarrot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't get it.. They people have been hunting them for years? They probably have a local name, in what way were they suddenly discovered? And why not give them they're local name?
Empirical or Imperial? - acorn22, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Monkeys fling poo
- infonography, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lewie
Are you saying Michael Crichton is a genius of monkey? We may have found our threat to humanity there, he's been secretly drawing our attention away from his monkey armies. Pretty soon now we will all be Monkey's Butlers. - infonography, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No, but it may be chunky.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I thought it said "New penis of African monkey found"...
- Spastastic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Does it know how to drink it's own pee?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Yaaay! Fnnn idiots..........
- zoltan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1"Quick, get it drunk! We need to know if this monkey also behaves like humans under the influence."
duh... we already found out - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Did this monkey come over in a boat, also? ..oooo, that was bad.
- arduenn, on 10/12/2007, -12/+1[comment removed - wrong thread]
- arduenn, on 10/12/2007, -17/+0"Who gives a ***** about another monkey?" Well, anti-creationists and other heather scum do.
- enzomedici, on 10/12/2007, -20/+1
Who gives a ***** about another monkey?
