A "nerd" (like myself somewhat) just needs to (quickly) find a subject that they are well versed in and that the particular female they are after is even slightly interested in. The ability to add a few well placed jokes in the conversation is also very helpful, not to mention tuning down the overall nerdiness of the conversation. Knowing how to dumb it down without appearing uninformed or as though you're talking down to them is a handy tool, and may I suggest practicing on girls you're not interested in before stepping up to the big leagues. May I also suggest to my fellow nerds that doing a few push-ups and crunches while waiting for your downloads to finish is a very good idea, and also helps in getting laid. Let's continue killing the stereotypical nerd persona.

But the choice is obvious what she will do with each man in the event a confident man seduces her versus what a nerd will accomplish in the same amount of time. While a nerd is doing small talk and feeling awkward, the guy with social status and dominance is already getting her number. I'm not saying this as a misogynist, either; I think it's reasonable to say that most woman are attracted to social status .. ergo their love for men with fancy cars and the like.

Talking to a girl is NOT like casting a magic spell - the specific combination of words, hand gestures and eye movements and her vagina mystically envelops your penis.
Uptight, cautious and strategic is the biggest turn-off ever.
