- wallish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7You know what I think the coolest part about a spacewalk would be.. when you look out at nothing and know that it goes on forever, or at least really really damn far.
- bigpixl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6If it's any consolation, you would probably eventually hit Earth's atmosphere and die in a blaze of unholy fire.
Cheers. - plefno, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It's actually really hard to find anything on the ISS. It's begun to fill up with all kinds of trash because of the grounding of the space shuttle fleet. It got a little better after Discovery's flight last summer. Plus knowing where certain items are all depends on crew members accurately recording their locations to the inventory management system they use.
- zydehkim, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Seeing this reminded me of a nightmare I used to have...
You're an astronaut spacewalking, and your tether snaps... you float through the awesomely bleak landscape of space until you run out of oxygen and die a lonely death.
I know, very morbid, but I thought I'd share. Better than complaining about how it has nothing to do with Apple's spiffiest new products. - jasondefaoite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"Meanwhile, Russian spacewalks have been put on hold because four canisters needed to rid carbon dioxide from the air that spacewalkers breathe can't be located on the station"
Okaaaaay. - nbx909, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"*****, jack, wtf is the trash doing where are canisters are supposed to be! Don't tell me you jettisoned our canisters"
- jasonsfakename, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Billions are spent on the construction and upkeep of this thing and they cant get the freakin hand rails right?
- dasutin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good now they can start working again, we need the ISS

Filled with constellations, planets, moons and stars.
And still the universe extends to a place that never ends
Which is maybe just inside a little jar! - jamesob5, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0iWalk
