- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Good article, but I'm not digging becuase of the misleading title.
- Soniti, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Seriously- What a ***** misleading title.
People need to stop doing this ***** just to get shock value. It's sad beyond all belief.
STOP WITH THE ***** FAUX-TITLES.
~Soniti - stilesja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Misleading title but worth the read.
- RabidFurby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, you need to learn to read. The guy said, "Einstein was no space alien", not, "Einstein is a space alien!".
Good story about him anyway. Just learn to make correct titles without miss quoting people. - pvaculin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I thought I was going to get an offbeat story. Instead I found myself reading a very interesting article. The headline of the story was a great hook. This sort of story shows what kind of quality information one can gain on the Internet.
- -Ov3roN-, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great read, but the title isn't at all right.
- Yeti_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why do I even come here?
- billizm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1TOTALLY misleading title. The article is not based in the slightest on the title. It was a joke popularized by pop culture, as even told in the article.
No digg for a lame title, and not even news. Nice article aside, though. - Agret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The story title isn't misleading as the NASA article has the same title. Although the article says nothing on it really.
- Kielrandor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ya know,
The poor guy who posted this article is getting alot of flack over a misleading title. If anyone bothered to either read the article or hey, LOOK at the title of the article as posted on the science.nasa.gov site itself they would see:
"Was Einstein a Space Alien?"
as the article's title. The poster of the article on Digg took the title as posted and the line "He must have come from some other planet..." from about halfway through the article and wrote out his article's title "NASA: "Einstein is a Space Alien!" in order to hook in diggers to look at the article.
I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
However, the synopsis of the article that was posted to digg definitely leaves something to be desired. "NASA has published an article discussing the possibility of Einstein being a space alien." is FAR from a legitimate summary sentence. - Carbito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ah, so this is where all NASA's funding goes.
- zediker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Leave it to a digg user to choose one of the jokes of the article as the headline =)
- Nick_Circosta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0no 42 is dead right ive checked it twice :P
- dp109, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0great article. The NOVA special that was on did not go into the things about his brain.
- H_o_p_s, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good read.
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wait... WHAT?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hey, sensationalistic headlines ownz.
- Fraghappy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Haha, the title is a bit misleading, but it was still a very informative and interesting article.
- MaxPeck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Quit with the "farking" headlines...no digg for a farked up article.
- BQ27, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, Einstein, Quantum mechanics and it's FRiday ! Woot
- prairieson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"_____________________ 42 __________________________"
And even *that's* wrong as it turns out, lol. - rompom7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, misleading title. Still a good read though.
- opticsnake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+015% larger parietal lobe! I want one of those! Maybe then I could pass my algorithms course. ....damn big O, big theta crap!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice to know what the geniuses over at NASA are spending their free time with.
- dhughes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0 I saw the Einstein show on Nova. It certainly left you wondering if his wife ,Mileva Maric, helped him develop his theories more than he admitted.
- sulestis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0good read. dugg.
- rileyjt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good article - stupid Title on the digg though
- b0b0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good read, but misleading title.
- OrangeTide, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would find it more believable if Nikola Tesla was a space alien. A lot of things Einstein wrote about would have eventually been written about, they say. But I'm not so sure about the inventions of Tesla. He was a terrible businessman, but a manic engineer.
- motionblur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Brilliant article.
- geekoid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Um... listen to the commentary... the guy seems to sound a bit unusual.
- ColdChilli, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just below the title:
"Listen to this story via streaming audio, a downloadable file,
***or get help.**" - chosenone-, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Grabs your attention, funny and witty read.
- Morph_Ball, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The was an interesting read, but not for the reason the titles suggests. I'll digg it...
- blacktone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Man, I want to read about some freaking aliens! That had nothing to do with greys...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Title should have been something like
NASA: Einsein was not a super-intellgient child, but just a curious child. - titanass, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1***** Moron! Do these idiots even read the articles or check there quotes.
- igro, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1_____________________ 42 __________________________
- andreizilla, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I, for one, will digg the story _just_ because of the misleading title.
