- jaysname, on 12/13/2008, -0/+10I'll take peace instead for a thousand Alex.
- immatellyouwhat, on 12/13/2008, -1/+7This is the equivalent to Hello Kitty with a AK 47..... it bounces all cute and happy but murders everything in it's path.
- ben3308, on 12/13/2008, -0/+5I think I saw this thing in the Nutty Professor 2.
Haha, no I'm just lying. I never actually saw that terrible movie. - Carlsen, on 12/13/2008, -0/+5MKV is a container, not a codec in itself.
- thatsgoodkarma, on 12/13/2008, -3/+8Is this just a generic post you've decided to make now?
Check out his comment history. - rivalthecreator, on 12/13/2008, -1/+6This kind of technology does not go with the type of music in that video.. at all.

- dutchb0y, on 12/13/2008, -0/+4From the site at the end of the vid…

That's Dabney Coleman… and he was Dr. John McKittrick in the movie WarGames.
This has got to be a viral for a new WarGames movie, if it's not too late for the WarGames2, or some other thing related to the property. Unless it's being tied in to Terminator Salvation. heh.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001056/ - Ghoztt, on 12/13/2008, -2/+5Quick Gordon shoot it!
- AlexGrant, on 12/13/2008, -0/+3How do you plan to maintain the status of the only world superpower with brick schools in place of a bomber? At best we could dismantle the schools and throw bricks. Then we're still without schools.
I'm no war mongerer; but I think people are too fast to assume that there will never be another traditional state-v-state war for the rest of time, ever. - allaboutdatiki, on 12/13/2008, -3/+6Nice happy voice over.
- e2superman, on 12/13/2008, -0/+3Well I moved out West a few years ago but my prior company has some cool videos on their website. Defense Industry of course:

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
This world in arms in not spending money alone.
It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.
The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities.
It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population.
It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals.
It is some 50 miles of concrete highway.
We pay for a single fighter with a half million bushels of wheat.
We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people.
This, I repeat, is the best way of life to be found on the road the world has been taking.
This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron. - idavidtang, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2The reason why this re-post is so popular is because the submitter is a hot female digger.
- asdffdas1234, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2Skynet already had control over defence systems as well.
- Gonz037, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2I'll buy that for a dollar!
- sgxyay, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2Where can I buy the OST?
- Jeremyz0r, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2It made me think of Gundam Wings toward the end.
- JaysonthePirate, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2true. i learned something. i dont know why they call them "kills". they're more like "intercepts".
- valkyries, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2the first little animation is new thou,
- inactive, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2You're referring to this?

And coming in to a close second, the Mother Teresa rocket launcher.
http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news_pics/14992/He ... - spyders, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2The voiceover reminded me of a late night "Home Shopping" style advert.
"But wait! There's more! With every MKV purchased within the next 30 minutes, we'll include this set of steak knives!" - Kruse, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2Sweet, 20 year old technology. COOL!
- warriorscot, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2Isn't it nice how the money and the brains behind the advances in military technology let you post your complaint using the communications system that they helped pioneer. Not to mention all the medical advances that helped keep you and your parents alive. Or the vehicle technology that allows the worlds commerce to operate.
Advances in technology are wonderful but when it comes to getting them put into things people actually find useful the military is really good at that.
It took the military to get the first Computers online. It took the military to build and test the first jet engines. I could go on but I think the point is pretty clear by now. - dutchb0y, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1i think it's for WarGames 2.
- mikebritton, on 12/14/2008, -0/+1I'd be all for it if it dispensed hot dogs instead of bombs.
- Ph03N1X418, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1First time I saw this (on wimp.com) I didn't know it was designed to take out ICBM's...
I guess it'll be easy enough for them to make a smaller version for taking US out....
On the bright side, I can't imagine it will be too heavily armored (an anti-personnel version, I mean); otherwise they'll have weight problems; sacrificing ammunition carrying ability/weapon loadout to achieve lift..with some distance on it, the human resistance might be able to take it out xD - inactive, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1i wonder if anyone realises that this is for taking down missiles not its not an anti-personnel weapon yet, because you know this is like the 5th time this week its been on the front page and everytime everyone seems to think its for taking down multiple human targets.
- hackiavelli, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1It's not good for the economy because it doesn't have any other application than military use. We've known for a long time the nuclear arms race was a money pit which is why the United States and the USSR/Russia had been deescalating for decades before President Bush decided to ignore previous treaties.
It would be much smarter to devote the money to developing alternative energy sources, something that really IS vital to our national security and has the potential for massive job creation. - shiftkgb, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1Yeah but when they launch 50 of them down the street, doesnt really matter.
- TexasFlood93, on 12/14/2008, -0/+1Reload, Freeman!
- CoffeeZombie, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1IIRC, the nuke race was great for the economy, and the cold war made for some awsome spy movies. I think its exactly what we need: happy factory workers cranking out explosives, and James Bond kicking commie ass and tapping the hot russian chicks.
- dutchb0y, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1It's a viral vid, almost certainly for the next WarGames movie.
- slundal, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1I'm pretty sure the Strike Freedom is already using this, with great sucsess I might ad.
- EricAnderton, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this looked like something out of Black Mesa.
- lamiaconfitor, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1Id like to throw one of those at the combine with the grav gun.
- r3s0p, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1Great first link! I love Javelin vids... It's a sweet little system, and seems to be very accurate and reliable from all of the videos i've seen, well, except for this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UXl9PcPvKc
I'm surprised those guys could move, i'd have severe pucker cramps when that thing started going all walleyed. - MaxAmillio, on 12/14/2008, -0/+1why is it called multiple kill vehicle? all those little explosions were just to stabilize itself.
i didn't see any guns or anything attached to it? - PhailQuail, on 12/13/2008, -1/+2The empty lines at the top make it obvious you copied and pasted.
- dandonia, on 12/13/2008, -0/+1Lol, did the voice over make anyone else think of Crackdown and how this would be a cool weapon in the sequal as you level up the bullets could turn to rockets then heat seeking rockets.
- e2superman, on 12/14/2008, -0/+1LOL! That is crazy! I will fwd back to some guys I know that work on that and see if I can give them a little friendly nudge! :P
- quux, on 12/14/2008, -0/+1Definitely WarGames 2. Look at the youtube poster account.
