I spend the warm months outside backpacking typically in places where you find ticks. Every time I encounter one of those ***** I'm like a little girl that just found a spider, I hate those things so much!

The guys at work told me if you put a full one near unfed ones that the hungry ones would attach themselves to the full one. ewww. i come from a place with no ticks, so to me they are discusting...

  • LoveWidescreen, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2A good friend of mine and podcaster over in England (I would post the link, but I don't want to be accused of spam) has been fighting with acanthamoeba for over two years. He said that there were days where he was writhing on the floor because of the pain. He finally ended up with two or three cornea transplants because the damned bug wouldn't die. It's finally dead, but he has cataracts on the current cornea, so he has to get ANOTHER cornea transplant!

    I think it's time for me to change my contacts anyway, and this was as good a reason as any.
