- inactive, on 07/18/2009, -0/+3Jellies are some of the most fascinating creatures. I remember going to the exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and staring at them for hours. One of my favorites were the comb jellies -- little guys with comb-like cilia that actually diffract light, creating a trippy rainbow effect. Otherwordly... awesome... the video is totally tripping my cat out too...

- inactive, on 07/18/2009, -0/+1Some say returning to life as a cockroach is punishment for a cruel previous life, so what did that guy do to come back as that?
- cx0der, on 07/18/2009, -0/+1Jellyfish sting is not as yummy as it sounds
- feelcreative, on 11/07/2009, -0/+0This is an amazing image. The Coral Sea truly is one of the last places on Earth where large marine animals can still be found in great numbers. The terrifying thing is that federal government in Australia is considering the future of the Coral Sea within Australian waters right now and one of the strong arguments is to open it completely to commercial fishing.
If we want to see beatiful animals like this survive we should all stand up and help Protect the Coral Sea. You can do this via http://www.protectourcoralsea.org.au - act now and help create the world's largest marine park. - BrownieMix, on 07/18/2009, -1/+1Will be my desktop soon too.
