- 25mL, on 06/25/2008, -2/+8I had the pleasure of visiting Angkor Wat 2 times. The first was 12 years ago, and the temple was absolutely stunning! It was secluded to the point that I had the pleasure of exploring it literally, almost alone. There was probably only a handful of people, literally. The second time was 2 years ago, boy had things changed. There was hundreds if not thousands of people, and security was tight, I couldn't touch or get close to many things like the past.
I did however notice the difference in color of each temple, 'specifically Bayon temple. It is a sad thing to see when microbes are eating away our world wonders :(- jamesdew, on 06/25/2008, -2/+2microbes today, we didn't have them in my day, coming over ere eating up all our monuments, why don't they go back to where they came from.
- Rudegar, on 06/25/2008, -1/+3Microbes! I knew it was them! Even when it was the bears, I knew it was them.
- ShadowFoxxx, on 06/25/2008, -1/+5Nothing lasts forever, sadly. It'll take awhile for those microbes to eat away at the stone, though.

- erhanaltay, on 06/25/2008, -3/+3You say it as if its a bad thing... the natural process of things also including humans dieing at 30 from simple illnesses or injuries, more than 1/10 children dieing in the first 5 years, and many other horrid things...
Nature is there to be tamed.- scoottie, on 06/25/2008, -3/+1actually the reason humans dont die at the age of 30 anymore is because of nature, you ever hear of penicillin that miracle drug that is in simplistic terms mold.
- spider-man, on 06/25/2008, -0/+3And gee, who found out about penicillin? Perhaps it was "HUMANS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO STOP THE NATURAL PROCESS OF THINGS" as you've liked to put it.
- blast_flame, on 06/25/2008, -0/+1But humans didn't naturally develop penicillin in their bodies did they? Instead humans TAMED a part of nature and used it to do that.
- scoottie, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1but they didnt destroy penicillin did they
