  • mrtonyc, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Although this is a significant milestone we haven't reached the tipping point where humanity begins to act in the interests of the entire species. There are other global factors like global warming, and the Internet, that are also driving us towards this tipping point when people will act more like a global "family". That time may still be centuries away but urbanisation leads to an improved quality of life through improved education, prosperity and access.
