why is cancer still a problem?- Frostek, on 05/11/2008, -1/+2I'd suggest you do a five minute read on the subject of cancer, and you'll find just how complex it is. It's not going to be a simple matter to do anything to cure it completely - if that's even a possibility.
- Frostek, on 05/11/2008, -1/+10Lasers... Is there anything they can't do?
- Croecop, on 05/11/2008, -1/+3Kill Superman
- Cogboy, on 05/12/2008, -0/+1I take it you have never seen a flash-pumped kryptonite rod in action.
- grfx303, on 05/11/2008, -0/+3If this procedure can be used to halt the radiation and subsequent medications that accompany cancer of the larnyx, then proceed with all speed. Recovering from head and neck cancer and my speech is a hoarse whisper at best. More needs to be done to speed research to cancer centers so more people can be reached in time
- azerothshero, on 05/11/2008, -2/+10Maybe phasers might treat cancer in the pharynx.
- JasonMaloney101, on 05/11/2008, -1/+4What you did there, I see it.
- rawrzzz, on 05/11/2008, -0/+4And tasers?

- dynelol, on 05/11/2008, -0/+4Wasn't this a procedure in Trauma Center: Second Opinion?
- Elliottx, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2Yup. One of the first missions too. I loved that game because of the obvious references to Scrubs ^--^ Elliot Cox is the singer with the larynx cancer and you have to zap the popules before they explode...fun stuff.
- dynelol, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1I ***** love Scrubs and wish that they'd have a game that's basically a clone but with comedy.
- Elliottx, 14 hr 31 min ago, -0/+1Scrubs pwns 8th Season FTW! ^_^ Hopefully they'll go for the 9th and maybe even the 10th. God I would love that so hard...so hard it would hurt...and be illegal.

- anliath, on 05/11/2008, -1/+3I wish articles like this would link to published research... It is irresponsible to have an opinion about these things based on media articles...
- heliox, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1They list the researcher's name, do a PubMed search.
- L4WL3RS34L, on 05/11/2008, -1/+7There is a cure cancer and HIV every week on Digg...so don't get too excited.
- unomeasjon, on 05/11/2008, -1/+2Yes, this makes me want to put in a fat chew.
- sweeneyowns, on 05/11/2008, -0/+4this is rookie business...have we learned nothing from Trauma Center? everyone already knows the laser is the most powerful tool at ones disposal...
- Twenty, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1I'm pretty sure the surgery was almost exactly like this, too. Trauma Center ftw.
- GoatMonkey2112, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1How do they fit the shark in your throat?
