- ClassicJBC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"So far, none of the 90 or so potential vaccines against HIV have proved successful" That's pretty misleading. There are several vaccines that are already in later stages of human testing. We're closer than a lot of people think.
- happyfundave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Don't forget "Return of the Killer Tomatoes!" and "Killer Tomatoes Eat France"
- mobilehavoc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That was a great cartoon! Dugg just for reminding me of that cartoon.
- gcube9x, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Anyone reminded of a certain cartoon?
- BlogJones, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2These killer tomatoes?
- clarkin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is nice. similar to golden rice. the really cool thing is how they delivered the genes for the protein. that bacterium usually causes crown gall tumors in trees!! seem you might be able to deliver just about any gene for any protein with this system.
- jakatak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0they are doing a lot of that lately. I also heard that they were growing tabacco with medicine in it. I can't remember what it was for, but they are cross breeding these things with meds.
here is the article from the year 2000. http://archives.cnn.com/2000/HEALTH/09/09/tobacco.plant/
They have made even more progress today.
