This is an example of an incorrect way to wear a tinfoil hat. You are still vulnerable around those who wear tinfoil shoes. - drjekelmrhyde, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15I find buying 100,000's dollars worth of copper mesh for your house works better
- Silencer7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Or for those who wish to be more susceptible to outside manipulation, you can turn it upside down (like a big satellite dish) and let government/media messages bypass your critical thinking processes. This saves you the trouble of having to evaluate evidence and competing claims.

The shape of the tin foil hat acts as a parabolic dish, that actually amplifies the Government signals that are comming from underground - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13It really is too bad that Alex Jones is more famous on any one given day than the combined total amount of recognition you'll ever receive in your entire life.

- davesbrain, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Of course you can't make a tinfoil hat like this. The government planted this article so people build non-functioning tinfoil hats.

Now we need them to fend off obamabots... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I remember looking at a very similar site (probably same one) years ago. They had a great section on tiny black helicopters that didn't know you were there if you wore the foil hat. If you weren't wearing the hat they would do something scary and then use their special powers to wipe your memory clean

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Aluminum, along with all other precious metals, have been going up, so odds are you can't afford aluminum. Better try a USA dollar foil hat. It's more in your price range since it's been depreciated to *****.
- byzantium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What happens if you use a Wok instead of a fancy tinfoil hat?
- eastinlet, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I never knew what peace was until I tried this. Thanks, Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie (TM)!
Hopefully others can soon buy these at Target. Perhaps Walmart will see the benefit and have these manufactured in China to lower the price. - BirdAdvocate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I ALWAYS wear my beanie. You never know when they are watching.
- omgcthulhu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good idea, I will certainly try this on Sunday with my son
- RichesToRags, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Freaking awesome! This will go great with my tinfoil jockstrap.
- one0them, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Great article; I laughed all the way to the bottom, and all the way through the comments.
I want to say seriously that if theres anybody (kids) reading this who actually thinks wearing a tinfoil hat is a good idea, it's actually counterproductive.
I think the basic idea of a tinfoil hat is that it will be a Faraday cage around your head which will keep out bad radio waves which will plant ideas in your head.
1. Mind control radio waves do exist
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jos%C3%A9_Manuel_Rodriguez_Delgado
however, they work the same on everyone, and they don't work well without having a brain-chip to provide feedback, and they definitely can't plant ideas, only emotions.
2. A tinfoil hat only blocks RF if it's GROUNDED, and having a 6 foot wire trailing behind your tinfoil hat would look even sillier than the hat itself. What is an ungrounded tinfoil hat you ask? It's an ANTENNA, and it will pick up all kinds of RF from all the radio stations, cellfones, satellites, Wi-fi, radar, and every other source of harmful radiation (not to mention those nasty MK waves), and cram it into your head. Not that wifi is likely to mind control you, but it will fry your brain so that you believe silly stories like bigfoot, moonbats, and fire turning a steel building into a pile of dust.
Interesting Note:
If you were to make a hat out of alternating layers of tinfoil, and paper with paper on the inside, and no layers of foil touching, then it's an orgone accumulator as described by Wilhelm Riche.
another note: pointy tinfoil hats are even worse (think lightning rod) - topace3000, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Thanks for this site. I'll link it to every conspiracy theorist I see!
