- inactive, on 12/29/2008, -3/+9This doesn't bode well for the anti-humanity movement.

But you did ok too. - enri, on 12/29/2008, -0/+2Let's do the tests again when Johnson isn't running the EPA.
- Someguy101, on 02/19/2009, -0/+2glockman69, I decided to throw out my sarcasm detector after dealing with McCain/Palin supporters all year.
Opiate, we do need to have controls in place to protect the planet. Especially as it relates to our oceans. There needs to be penalties in place for doing things that would harm them. If there was no regulation on fishing the fishing industry would rape the ocean bare of all life as one example. You can look at other places of the world where regulations are not in place and you can see how humanity treats the world they live in.
There are greedy Humans who will not hesitate to sink to any sort of low in order to make a buck. The ocean is out of sight and out of mind for most of humanity. News of good things is a sign that the education and proactive measures to save our oceans is working and that it should continue. - animenick65, on 12/29/2008, -2/+4Not bad. Honestly, this is the first bit of "good" news about our country or anything in the world for that matter, that I've heard in awhile.
- Someguy101, on 02/19/2009, -1/+2What anti-humanity movement? Protecting the planet we live on is the most pro-humanity movement there could possibly be. I don't see how your comment relates to this article.

- rustintable, on 12/29/2008, -1/+2They are all as dead as your sense of comedy.
- inactive, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1It was tongue-in-cheek, I'm referring to the people who think humanity is the cause of all our problems and that we must be nannied to no end to save the planet. News of "good things" is anti-agenda.
- CrossCanyon, on 12/30/2008, -0/+1The ocean covers 71 percent of the Earth's surface and contains 97 percent of the planet's water; yet it receives a fraction of the scientists devoted to biology research / the funds devoted to environmental defense.
- austang, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1Yeah
- Noooooooooooooo, on 12/29/2008, -0/+0Good news!? Is this even possible? Good to hear though.
