and buried for crappy comments. (including this one). - Roshz, on 11/27/2008, -2/+9people don't now get off them now and tech isn't that advanced.
- ohsoserial, on 06/03/2008, -0/+2I love how you get dugg down for pointing out those I-Power people are retards.

- bdbElysian, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1Multi-core CPU? For sure.
Hybrid SLi? Of course.
Solid state fans to replace the CPU, GPU and every other fan I can’t think of right now. Hopefully.
Zero-watt LED backlit monitors? No idea why anyone didn’t bring that out years ago.
Completely wireless PC: wireless keyboard, mouse, LAN, speakers, monitor and the power to run it all? That would rock.
DDR3? Well, no other option seems to be around to replace DDR2 so why the hell not? - jonwise80, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1ya, wasn't that just a list of things that are currently hot tech...?
- jonstafari, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1true... but, most of the technology has been slow to catch on. Virtualization, for example, would be one of those technologies that I see getting more pull from businesses (especially smb's). people are realizing the beauty of 1 consolidated system, with redundancy and hfa. i got about 6 P2V requests this past week!!!
still, this list is old as fizzzuck though. - lolinyerface, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1It's a Paradigm!
- Spamiclese, on 06/03/2008, -2/+3I'll sum up the site so you don't have to click the link:

Oh and you have some foam on your mouth. No the other side. Lower... you got it. That's better. - stk198323, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1Because when you try to press esc and reload in your real life you're going to have one hell of a surprise!
- vebazzo, on 06/03/2008, -2/+3Why is a life on the computer not "real"? Or better: why is a digitally-enhanced world less real?
- yetAnotherCroc, on 06/03/2008, -1/+1yes but the difference is that now you get to pick which 200
- cdigioia, on 06/03/2008, -1/+1except it's not called that...cuz it's for cable, not Internet.
- qetuo, on 06/03/2008, -2/+1I don't use Google, wake up and see the evil that the cause!
- djtrentt, on 06/03/2008, -1/+0fiber optic motherboards...
- WatchDragon, on 06/03/2008, -2/+1no but OS/2 warp might be a better alternative to Vista.
- ajkrik, on 06/03/2008, -3/+1"user interface" meaning touch screens is such terrestrial crap. It's like saying you will be able to flush the toilet using the "clapper". So what? User interface that is a "brain-computer" connection or "brain-video player" instead of relying on the ocular nerve would be a real advancement in user interface. Imagine having a USB in your neck that linked the data stream from a video player or document source directly to the brain.
- houndeyex, on 06/03/2008, -4/+1You pay $40 a month to see 200 webpages now.
It's called a cable bill. - inactive, on 06/03/2008, -4/+0hi guys would you like to enjoy more fun

- Frecklefoot, on 06/03/2008, -6/+1Fine predictions, it'll be interesting to see which pan out in the next several years. But they seem more like observations: what is being used now. He also doesn't explain fabric computing. I know what it is, but he doesn't touch it, even though its on his list.
- kingcam, on 06/03/2008, -6/+1Way to make a broad list of tech that its obvious is going to develop quickly in the next few years!
- dtrocchio, on 06/03/2008, -5/+0"User interface, or UI, is definitely going to shift over the next few years. Bill Gates has just been quoted as saying that the mouse is going to be obsolete in a few years, replaced by touch screens. The iTouch and the Microsoft Surface are examples of the touch screen technology that Gates is referring too; using your fingertips to control, resize, move and change anything from images to data sets."
Mouse is going to be obsolete? I don't know about Bill, but I can't see myself programming using any kind of advanced IDE with my fingers. Cursor placement is already an irritating task, let alone with my clunky finger.
I don't see any manufacturers putting out press releases stating they'll no longer be including mice/support with their hardware. It's not like we're talking about the floppy drive. - locojones, on 06/03/2008, -6/+1Hooray for meaningless buzz words!!!!
- Yibbon, on 06/03/2008, -8/+2These comments suck, but mine doesn't!
- TheImaginator, on 06/03/2008, -7/+1Buried - most of that is already here, and the rest should have been ages ago.
- jcraig949, on 06/03/2008, -8/+2This article would have been more interesting had it been written 5 years ago.
- WatchDragon, on 06/03/2008, -10/+4So we don't have to worry about those people that think we are gonna have to pay $40 a month to see 200 webpages in four years?
- nexus37, on 06/03/2008, -8/+1Great, but how do these bring gas prices down? The technology that needs to be developed is the technology that can be used by the masses.
OK. I'll take my flogging now. (Be gentle) - SaveJake, on 06/02/2008, -10/+2Augmented reality.......Very cool....Very scary. Will people ever get off their computers and live a real life?!?
- Dylson, on 06/03/2008, -10/+1Google. Enough said.
- nowhereelse, on 06/03/2008, -16/+2I love the idea of Vista running on a Mac. Does it even run on a PC yet?
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -22/+4I'll use my t.v. remote to watch whiney liberals shut the ***** up when I press the power off button... ***** obama the white man hating muslim who loves himself more than anything else except hating whitey. And his whore of a wife was caught on tape talking about how whitey is the devil, you bastards will see it when it will really count.
