    It is *NOT* a feared mutant strain of the dreaded H5N1 (HPAI) which we know is highly pathogenic (infective) among birds and is feared for its pandemic potential *IF* it mutates into something that can be efficiently transmitted between humans, which it isn't now.

I remember when this was first discovered, I was a counselor at a camp, and told every child there, mind you all below the age of ten, that we're gonna die of bird flu. OOOHHHH WHAT FUN THAT WAS!!! I was fired, but still, having 300 children cry at once because a disease that they can't see, smell, or hear is going to kill them painfully and slowly makes me giggle. Don't judge me. And I thought it was gone, but now its coming back!!
