- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -1/+236I read though this article honestly believing it was real, until I realized it was the onion.
- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -6/+139My first time was with a poster of Princess Zelda
- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -2/+127Lets see how many comments we get from people who don't know what The Onion is.
- Greatn3ss, on 01/13/2008, -1/+116After playing Banjo-Kazooie, it's kinda hard not to devote 50% of your parietal lobe to that blissful all-encompassing beautiful mind ***** of a game.
- funkytommyman, on 01/13/2008, -1/+106↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A...
yet i don't remember my girlfriend's birthday - j4nj1m3n3z, on 01/13/2008, -2/+87I love the statistic about he remembered knocking pikachu off the stage with donkey kong in smash bros. faster than he remembers holding his newborn sister for the first time.
- thebellmaster1x, on 01/13/2008, -0/+65"the underwater-bomb-defusing level of Nintendo Entertainment System's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"
WORST LEVEL EVER. - h0munculus, on 01/13/2008, -4/+65You know that The Onion is a spoof newspaper, right?
- gannondork, on 01/13/2008, -0/+60Only half of his brain is devoted to Nintendo. He must be a noob.
- Twoodge, on 01/13/2008, -2/+54I only realised it was the Onion when you pointed that out. :S
- capiCrimm, on 01/13/2008, -1/+49I had to make due with a Mario picture... he's never been the same to me.
- tattertech, on 01/13/2008, -1/+49It's a shame to see that The Onion has been reduced to reporting real news...
- smiyamoto, on 01/13/2008, -6/+53Is there any doubt that Nintendo is the greatest name in gaming? Think about all the PSP owners who run SNES emulators and the Xboxers begging for N64's Goldeneye. Nintendo FTW.
- JaredXM, on 01/13/2008, -0/+39Also your most recent correct?
- desistere, on 01/13/2008, -1/+39The sad part of reading this article was realizing that my brain too is filled with useless video game codes, warp whistle locations, and level memorizations. 007 373 5963 =(
- netdroid9, on 01/13/2008, -1/+35You forgot Select Start. When you're on your death-bed and recite that code, your children will cry because you messed up and didn't get those extra 30 lives.
- Mast3rDigg3r, on 01/13/2008, -3/+34you = gullible
- alexforcefive, on 01/13/2008, -0/+29Yeah, there's always that moment with the onion when the article goes from "that's quite interesting" to "oh for *****'s sake, someone actually took the time to make this ***** up?"
- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -0/+27Mario " I'm here to lay some pipe"
*cues cheesy music* - MikeFallopian, on 01/13/2008, -0/+23Zelda's a frigid bitch.
- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -0/+21"WORST LEVEL EVER."
Quoted for Truth. WTF were the makers thinking? - inactive, on 01/13/2008, -3/+23Mine was watching Xena warrior princess on Channel 20, I believe it was called the newVR or something.
- jordan314, on 01/13/2008, -2/+21Sad and funny...Being a 26-year-old nintendo addict myself this hits a little to close to home for me.
- Kr4t05, on 01/13/2008, -0/+19I got about half way down before I went, "Wait.."
- PHiZ187, on 01/13/2008, -1/+19FAILTAILITY!
- pwnerofnoobs, on 01/13/2008, -1/+1930 lives contra...btw its Mortal Kombat
- mrfreeziexp, on 01/13/2008, -1/+18I knew it wasn't a regular news site when I started reading it. They casually say "Power Glove", "Power Pad mat", "Street Fighter II", and "Super NES." instead of referring to them as though they were some Alien tools dropped by the mothership. If it were written by, say, CNN, it would have sounded something like this: "'The Super Nintendo Entertainment Video Game System Video Game Console System Cartridge' and the video game cartridge application game 'The Street Fighters.'"
- SiNN4R, on 01/13/2008, -0/+16You should watch some Ron Jeremy for some live action mario porn.
- Sedako, on 01/13/2008, -0/+16About halfway in I was getting this sneaking suspicion, so I decided to scroll back up to the top. Damn you Onion! I will defeat you soon enough!
- Devotia, on 01/13/2008, -0/+15"Gosh, I sure do hate all the people that buy our games."
- tattertech, on 01/13/2008, -0/+15To be fair though - it is actually impressive how quickly I remember games I haven't played in ages.
- supermajic, on 01/13/2008, -0/+14That was so poorly played.
- Zarokima, on 01/13/2008, -0/+13032 730 8442
- Abominous, on 01/13/2008, -4/+17Doesn't surprise me. I still have my password from Simon's Quest memorized (GWNW SUEI 35I0 HJCM), just the 'O' I always have to check if it's a zero or lettter 'O.'
When my brain is rotting from Alzheimer's I'll still know that and the mario brothers theme by heart. - chillypacman, on 01/13/2008, -0/+12Funny I don't even remember holding my new born brother or sister but I remember heaps from my Nintendo days :P
Like getting to world 8 in Super Mario, I remember that, before my younger brother was even born. Can't even remember the years he was born though. - soapycub, on 01/13/2008, -0/+11But the music was awesome!
- DavidGX, on 01/13/2008, -0/+11I agree (not sarcasm)
- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -0/+10Captain Obvious has arrived at the scene.
- OneLess, on 01/13/2008, -2/+12Fail.
- Shawn4168, on 01/13/2008, -0/+9I devoted the other 50% to Banjo-Tooie.
- pwnerofnoobs, on 01/13/2008, -0/+9Evrybody know's Mike Tyson's code. I'd be impressed if you listed the code to the 2nd Piston Honda.
- oxdeltaxo, on 01/13/2008, -0/+9Hasn't put out in years.
- xstarsprinklesx, on 01/13/2008, -0/+8A whole lot, apparently.
- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -0/+8man even with the UK link theres still the uuiU...
- mirzmaster, on 01/13/2008, -1/+9Even after realizing this was an Onion article, I still couldn't tell whether it was real or satire. I really think this could happen. :)
- Gogogo111, on 01/13/2008, -0/+8God damnit.
- gldfshnpcklejar, on 01/13/2008, -0/+7I read it thinking it was about a real person with a neurological defect until about halfway through when it said he went to college and played 007 with his roommates. Then I immediately scrolled to the top, knowing what my eyes had skipped over.
- pnmoore, on 01/13/2008, -1/+8uhm...I don't...unless you are talking bout them roundish things you can eat...don't they make your breath smell bad? Why would somebody post an onion on here?
- polymorphist, on 01/13/2008, -1/+8Contra
- MrBilly, on 01/13/2008, -0/+7ABYX ABYX ABAB YXXY ABYX START SELECT on the start screen and LR Together on the 2nd Controller
