- simplechris, on 03/27/2008, -0/+4has that been touched up in photoshop? or the reflection added?

http://www.corporatefineart.com/-/corporatefineart ... - Brettus, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3Did anyone notice that there are two pictures of the same backdrop - one with a tribesman and one without?
First page - middle column, very bottom.
Sixth page - left column, top picture.
These are the same pictures. The cloud placement and sun position is exactly the same.
LAME. - vaxguru, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3Beautiful stuff. The lighting on the picture with the man holding the spear is just unbelievable.
- bender386, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3Can you get these in a higher resolution?
- dbbob, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2I think using photoshop to enhance is okay also. But man, it is a fine line. I mean if you shoot the women but then have to totally fill in the sky so there is no way on earth you would actually see this scene in real life, then we are real close to crossing the border. Especially for travel photojournalist like this guy. Should probably disclose.
- appletoapple, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2Elephants FTW!!!!!
- ayeroxor, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2Someone who thinks "tho" is a word is in no position to criticize the lexicons of others...
- d686, on 03/27/2008, -1/+3Too bad a few of those are very badly photoshopped to enhance the sky. The clouds in the 'bull elephant threatening' and 'masai women singing' photos have had the their levels messed with to make them more vivid. In the original they would have been blown out (i.e. white) to properly expose the subjects. You can see blatant evidence in the glow around the elephant and more clearly in the earrings of the masai women, where the background is pure white because the photog couldnt be bothered to cut them out.
- yoshman, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2Note to self: Never piss off a chimpanzee to take its picture.

- dbbob, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1Well, they are great...but it they are photoshopped...they're crap
- springboks, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1"watch out for natives" Do tell us more?
- ayeroxor, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1There's a character-count limit on titles...
- nublet, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2my god, those are amazing.
- rsm5068, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1absolutely amazing photos.
- d686, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1i do that for a living, so i'm fine with using photoshop to enhance photos, but this is just done badly. it's different doing it for an ad campaign or for a photo that is clearly manipulated/staged, like a CD cover, etc. nature photography is much more about purity in photography.
- ewarner, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1Read the caption on the one with the guy in it: "Samburu warrior combined with a background from Amboseli National Park, Kenya."
It's a crappy photoshop job, but at least he admits it's a photoshop job. - deathdefyer, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1I vote best set ever.
- customer, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1I freakin' love giraffes!
- inactive, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1meh not as good as Far Cry 2.
- ayeroxor, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1He's a professional photographer. That means that people are encouraged to pay him for higher resolution photos. There's got to be a contact link somewhere.
- appletoapple, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2Who gives a flying *****? The pictures are not altered so as to be dishonest or portray something that is not really there. Photoshop has just been used to enhance, as it was intended. I'm tired of everyone calling foul for the use of Photoshop. Get over it -- these pics are beautiful!
- cfulp, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1It's sad that one of the most beautiful places in the world is also the most violent.
