- oreonblade, on 05/16/2008, -2/+259When my mother was pregnant with me, they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they discovered, that I had resorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No, I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

- unicronband, on 05/16/2008, -2/+25The nice thing about Digg's new comment system is that I can digg you down to feel "morally righteous" and then digg you back up because that was awesome.
- RSS14, on 05/16/2008, -3/+25Where is House when you need him?

- had3l, on 05/16/2008, -10/+30Maybe Jesus was Mary's underdeveloped twin brother. That would explain the whole "Virgin" thing.
- Todash19, on 05/16/2008, -2/+22I have 17 month old twin girls. I hate to think that one of them is carrying her brother.
- br0wnstar, on 05/16/2008, -0/+19As soon as I saw this article, I went to the comments, hit ctrl + F and looked up the word 'resorbed' to see if I had been beat to it.
Nicely done. - doctechnical, on 05/16/2008, -3/+22Truly, you are what you eat.
- Naglifar, on 05/16/2008, -4/+22dugg cause the Office wins at everything.

im not sorry. - stutimandal, on 05/16/2008, -1/+12With human population exceeding 6 billion, we now get to hear about events lying outside 10 * (std deviation) of average.
- doubledowndan, on 05/16/2008, -0/+11Kuato Lives
- zaldoe, on 05/16/2008, -1/+11i was thinking of Dwight too
awesome quote :D - Claw787, on 05/16/2008, -0/+9"Markou said cases where one of a set of twins absorbs the other in the womb occur in one of 500,000 live births."
That's a lot. How come I've never heard of this before? - OnAnyMouse, on 05/16/2008, -0/+9Your parasitic twin is an intracranial organist.
- ScienCentral, on 05/16/2008, -2/+11http://www.rense.com/general38/boy.htm This is a similar story about a boy who had his twin brother growing inside of him
- Rhendal, on 05/16/2008, -0/+9Yes.
- dvsbastard, on 05/16/2008, -0/+9"Aye, baby... the other, *other* white meat..."
- Truckondo, on 05/16/2008, -0/+9See you at the party Richter!
- headphonz, on 05/16/2008, -2/+10You're twice the man you would have been.
- Ladymongoose, on 05/16/2008, -0/+8What's creepier? This story or the (if the stats they provide are correct...1 in 500K people have this) other poor, unsuspecting folks in the world walking around not realizing they are harboring their unborn brother or sister? Mysterious stomach pains, anyone?
- ZenMojo, on 05/16/2008, -0/+8Hm, so is the twin in her stomach the smart one?
- romistrub, on 05/16/2008, -0/+8Dugg for awesome doube-meaning.
- DeskFlyer, on 05/16/2008, -0/+7Get ready for a surprise!
- Terr01, on 05/16/2008, -4/+11And this is why "life begins at conception" is a much much weirder idea than most people realize.
- CarbonX, on 05/16/2008, -1/+7Eeeeeeew, you're not supposed to EAT that.
- dodgejon, on 05/16/2008, -1/+7Damn that baby looked like Quato!
- BigManOnCampus, on 05/16/2008, -6/+12So, if that happened to a 9 year old boy, wouldn't that mean a boy gave birth to a stillborn?
- moraldebate, on 05/16/2008, -1/+6Not that I have kids, but I'm pretty sure parents stop counting months at 2. There's a pretty big difference between a one year old and a two year old (at least in terms of developmental skills like walking and such) so it makes sense to have a more accurate measure of how old the baby is.
