- frequentFlyer, on 11/05/2009, -0/+3This is the same ***** that Brian Banner (Bruce's father) was experimenting with when he turned his son into the Hulk. Be careful with this stuff!
- luckyink, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2In the aquarium trade, blue and pink acropora (stony corals) are high dollar items. I often wondered why I had hardly ever seen these colors in the wild while diving. Perhaps in the aquarium they are trying to recover from the stress of shipping, intense/artificial lighting conditions and the simulated environment in general.

Sloppy info-scientific writing... all yours if you act now for only $19.99!!! - Rammat2, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1Nice to know the glowing isn't caused by nuclear waste dumping.
- bettysargent, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1A fascinating article. It's worth noting that when a diamond has a fluorescent cast it lowers its value. It would be interesting to understand why some diamonds have this and what purpose it serves in nature.

- acidtonic, on 11/05/2009, -2/+0You must be thinking of a "different" kind of scab there....
