- escher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7So, maybe this isn't the most exciting topic in the world, but as the article states, it creates the potential for smaller, cheaper particle accelerators, which would be a boon for particle physics.
- SundayTrain, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5What is a holographic-strobe camera?
- rockorager, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3But...she's ugly, right?

- splatnik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yay, this is the research group I work for. Nick Matlis is the one who finally photographed these things and they're friggin' amazing. The plasma waves are traveling at nearly the speed of light, only a few microns in size, and exist for less than a picosecond. How friggin' rad is it that we could ever see a photograph of that happening!
I was so stoked when I brought back these results from Michigan. GO TEXAS!!! - crackintosh, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4yah... If its not on YouTube, who cares?
- ZombieNixon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A table-top particle accelerator - I'd buy one.
