- Drahknon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2My favorite, though curiously not featured on the website: "Only Buddhism is compatible with science. It covers the smallest particles to the largest creations of the cosmos. It is the only religion capable of scientific truth."
- pilgrim_ahoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"I never let school interfere with my education."
Mark Twain - jman420, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."
I think this quote is funny since Einstein himself refused to acknowledge quantum mechanics and instead continue his search for a unifying theory of everything by ignoring the developing and ground breaking theories of young scientist so much like himself. - thundercleese, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."
I wonder what Einstein's position on today's ID debate would be. - NGC6656, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My favorite is the response to
"I am convinced that He (God) does not play dice."
as to which Niels Bohr responeded, "Einstein, stop telling God what to do." Then someone else in the room said, "Damn Al, you just got served." - aristotle1990, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."
Scary... - rompom7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't think that this is true myself, but I have heard Einstein once said "Fellatio is the ultimate sign of trust" or something along those lines.
- exobot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good digg, nice quotes :)
- Philbert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've always liked that he had a good sense of humor. I remember seeing a picture of him sticking his tongue out at the camera because he hated having his picture taken.
- GenghisRon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i wish i had these last year when i had to do quotes for English class
- Nullifidian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My favorite:
Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism -- how passionately I hate them!" - cfdisk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0./My Favorite/.
"Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts." - t35t0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Indeed, even Einsten succumbed to the wiles of old age. I hope I can learn to appreciate and understand new things when I grow older.

- dee-vee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
- surf314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd like to see some sort of citations linking the quotes to when and where he said it to lend at least something to the authenticity. I'm still upset from those quotes that get attributed to every stupid president or vice president. No digg.
- Maajid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality."
Brilliant. - markperia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0my fav: "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."
to masterzora: "If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut."
not real news but still an interesting read. +digg - jman420, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Its news to me *****.
- culebra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome Quote: "The secret to creativity is know how to hide your sources." Man how true that is! How true indeed.
- sdcdiggs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0drahknon is right, thats a cool quote since Einstein himself is of a jewish backqround, and for him to saw that is awesome.
- neocitron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1this one is for all you diggers.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge." - motionblur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My favourite: "The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education."
High school was a complete proof of this quote. - Viox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0+ digg
thx - masterzora, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"news to me" != news
- HouseofEl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0The problem with this digg is that several are actually very wrong. Einstein is one of the most misquoted people in history. I would suggest picking up "Quotable Einstein" excellent book that has everything he has ever said that was verified. Breaks it down to topics as well. Everything from his childhood to religion to war. Very good read for anyone out there that is really interested.
- masterzora, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Okay, there's no way you can even pretend that this is news. At all.
