thecarpetbaggerreport.com — Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has signed legislation allowing public school teachers to use “supplemental materials” in class when teaching about evolution. What will these “supplemental materials” be like? 'Flintstones' reruns, 'Land of the Lost' episodes and 'Evolution, Schmevolution' by the Discovery Institute for starters...

- SnowFire, on 07/08/2008, -1/+13These people have been indoctrinated since they were children. It is so hard for them to embrace anything other than what their "jeebusland" school has taught them. I agree that somebody has to halt this "faith based science" initiative. Faith and science are opposites.
- ramises, on 07/08/2008, -1/+16It's mind-numbing that there are so many people who are running backwards 100 years and trying to take everyone with them. There has to be a point where it is a violation of these kids' right to an education.
- Hetman, on 07/08/2008, -1/+18And the dumbing down of America continues. I honestly cannot believe that this people actually believe they are helping there children. It is insane.
- ladenta, on 07/08/2008, -2/+8They're not doing this to 'help' anyone ... this mental subjugation is necessary to continue with the neo-conservative, imperialist looting of America and the world. A thinking nation is not conducive to the survival of a government looking for it's own profits.

Here we have a biology major who: doesn't believe in evolution, thinks the Earth is 6000 years old, wrote an article about a friend he believes was possessed by a demon, ends up being the youngest governor in the US.
You just can't make this chit up.
We've gotta fight these guys - we don't need to repeat history:

- Fordi, on 07/09/2008, -0/+6That has to be a joke list. Please let it be a joke list.
- trogdoor, on 07/09/2008, -0/+3It's a joke list. It's so obviously satire that I almost think I must be missing sarcasm in your post for even considering that it was otherwise. But then again there is Poe's law:
