- Disease, on 10/12/2007, -1/+34Aww, I thought this was gonna teach me how to get around Norton.
- cohortq, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Ditto.
- r121, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Sigh. Me too ;)
- xlii, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I don't know if this was fixed, but no more then year ago norton av was bypassed by changing packer and adding some NOPs to code... (that's why I think Norton AV is worthless)

I'd be glad to tell you how that's done! More than happy.

- Cakey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Lol The title needs to be more specific!
- kendals, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That's pretty interesting stuff. I'm glad they threw the evolution tag in at the end though- I was getting worried!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, given that most computer viruses get released shortly after security reports get published ( duh! ) I'm wondering if I can expect a new plauge emerging over the next few weeks.
- khyberkitsune, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0This is absolutely funny - I thought of destroying the protein envelope around a virus to totally stop it from spreading and replicating back in biology class as a way of stopping HIV - my teacher told me we couldn't do that without damaging certain protein structures in our own body as well. Looks like we've got it down, now.
What's een funnier - I sent myself prior art in the mail concerning this idea - postmarked and everything - back in 1998. I wonder, if they get a patent on this, can I nullify it as being totally obvious by showing my prior art that was thought up in the middle of high school.
