- jggube, on 11/06/2008, -1/+13This revolutionizes our ability to find illnesses and diseases more quickly and uniformly - this has a lot of implications in being able to catch dormant diseases, or catching them earlier before they've gotten a chance to mature! I love advancements like this.
- FishHammer, on 11/06/2008, -1/+7Please, nobody make the Crysis joke. Please.
- Totz83, on 11/06/2008, -0/+3How you doin?
- DOCNM, on 11/06/2008, -0/+3If I had a dime for every time a systems biology journal publishes a network paper and in a press release claims it to be a cornerstone in understanding a complex disease, I'd be rich.
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -0/+3Throw in a nickle for every time such an article includes the disclaimer, "Real world use of this emerging technology is still years away", followed by never hearing about it again.

And does it run Pac-Man? - inactive, on 11/06/2008, -1/+2rofl i thought of jersey before clicking to check
- AmyVernon, on 11/06/2008, -1/+2Amazing. If they were able to find causes for cancer or schizophrenia, cures wouldn't be too far behind.
- Godlike, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1It's true.

Read it *****. - MarkOfTheDead, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1My girlfriend lives in South Jersey and when driving from Gloucester on the way to Haddonfield to take her home one night, I was stopped at a traffic light in front of the Crown Fried Chicken right on the tip of Camden and was propositioned with the idea of buying a shiny new hubcap from a spun-out crackhead that came no where close to matching the other three still on my car. (I lost one when I got a flat and it rolled across 95, SO not worth it) I politely said no thank you and got the hell out of there the second the light changed.
So I have to say BrokebackCasket's comment had me thinking Jersey before I clicked it too. - inactive, on 11/06/2008, -0/+1No ma'am, he's a decent citizen, family man...

(It was actually a very fascinating article, and gives the medical world new hope) - serif69, on 11/06/2008, -1/+1I live in NJ, and I have honestly never heard of anything like that. And believe me, I've heard a lot.
- morgauo, on 11/06/2008, -0/+0Of course this will probably be usefull for creating bio-weapons too.....
- Gr00ver, on 11/06/2008, -2/+0One step closer to computers becoming 'aware'.
First they discover molecules that cause disease.. next they will use this against us!
