- theone3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh no! Packet collisions.
Will this slow everything down?
Heh. Just in case it does, http://www.levitated.net.nyud.net:8090/p5/chamber/index.html :D - errer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Note: This is inspired by particle physics collisions, but the mechanics are completely different. For example, quarks are not distinguishable as they are in this simulation.
Still looks pretty neat, though. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Have no idea what this is doing, but it looks cool
- Jolene, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dosn't seem to be working for me. O.o
- hellb0y, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks pretty cool... Will DIGG even if im not sure what its suppose to represent
- Mushroonaut, on 07/11/2008, -0/+0Awesome!
- disord3r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks like a festering sore on a hairy persons leg.
http://home.cfl.rr.com/napkintosh/qwer.jpg - EliColburn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this seriously deserves 3000+ diggs.
- Rice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, he makes the effort to making the source easy to get, so, dugg.
- capn_caveman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If anyone can figure out how to extract those rendered images that would be really cool...
- capn_caveman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Actually I just found this link to the same thing... This one is much more friendly for browsers IMO.
http://www.complexification.net/gallery/machines/bubblechamber/ - Mushroonaut, on 07/11/2008, -0/+0sweeeeeeet. the space bar hitting in huge mode is fun!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is pretty cool.
But for some reason all my particles seem to be one color...
In the screenshot they have different colors.
Oh well.
+digg - Jolene, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nevermind, got it working in IE. Pretty cool. Would be cooler if the 'growth point' (if you will) would start in a random spot, not just the middle.
+Digg - capn_caveman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not enough resolution....
- nocircleno, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This guy is cool, I saw him present at Flash Forward in San Fran last year.
- Llan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, unconfined quarks in a bubble chamber, this will revolutionize the world. We don't need CERN now anymore...
- mikm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh noes, not teh Java!!
Sweet. +digg - capn_caveman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0For some reason I can't get the "Large" image to work in any browser, but the others work fine....
- knightmare, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0trippy

Print. . . Screen - CaughtThinking, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You can call it Java like you can say "Hey guys check out my C++" when using Firefox.
The software is called Processing: http://www.processing.org which is powered by Java applets among other things. Very well done prog.
Digg++ It's a great tool and really shows how artful it is especially in the hands of someone who knows how to use it :) - gamabunta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0very nice
- phi0x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ya it was on digg ALONG time ago, its non the less cool though:)
- mcbean, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0levitated.net always has some neat stuff, dugg
- a1programmer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's a Java applet. I guess you can say "In Your Browser" because, technically, the applet is in your browser window, but this could just as easily be a Java application.
- jumjum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I let mine run for 3 hours and it looks like raindrops hitting a muddy swamp (or a regular lake at night).
!NO PIC FOR YOU! - capn_caveman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"This was on Digg months ago."
Really? Provide a link. - UnKnownViper27, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0How do you play it? and what's the point.
- EliColburn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0wow. I definitely digg this. Amazing web game.
- aznboi04k, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1it uses java. no digg.
- nannerla, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0that would make a cool screen saver or something itr looks kool but idk wats going on
- turgiddahlia, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0errer: That's the ***** stupidest thing I've ever head. What would be the point of a simulation if the information being simulated wasn't "distinguishable"? Knob.
- Flyngwalrus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0This was on Digg months ago.
- masterdebater, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Cool! Alt-F4 unlocks the god-particle!
- capn_caveman, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0HOLY CRAP!! That Alt - F4 feature is
