    A whole lot of stuff is still going to be external to the material. Mud, dust, moisture, weapons, exposed skin, heat radiation, etc. Many of these things will be presented twice. The dusty surface from the far side will be projected onto the dusty surface on the front. The soldiers backpack/hidden weapon will be presented on his front. Anything not covered with the material will appear to float in the air. Even things like putting your arms behind your back will result in weird effects as the image your arm is projecting is received on your back and projected to your front.
