- anexanhume, on 07/01/2009, -0/+11Wow, I think it's time to coin an appropriate phrase to describe this phenomenon. How about "Monkey see, moneky do"? Oh crap...
- BrandonJM, on 07/01/2009, -0/+6It's almost like they're related to us ...
- DouglasQ, on 07/03/2009, -0/+5The video was actually written and directed by even more impressive chimps.
- TreatsTheBear, on 07/03/2009, -0/+4So, they're now qualified to work at Wendys?
- Blajano, on 07/01/2009, -0/+4Yay for tutorials!.
- netneutrality, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2Teaching chimps to do stuff is one of my favorite kinds of science.
- SirBruce, on 07/03/2009, -1/+2Please don't show them how to build a gun, please don't show them how to build a gun, please don't ...
- eastwood24, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1You stole my thunder. I shant forget.
- eliseville, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1That's probably because cats and dogs have much less of their already much smaller brains involved in sight. Their scent and hearing are much more powerful senses of understanding their worlds than in any primates.
My dogs are hilarious. They always get all excited when they hear a TV doorbell or dog barking. Either they run to our door or they just start barking at the TV! They believe it is so real that you can't even quiet them down right away. I understand some cats will watch birds on videos too, but not all of them. It's a big business now for owners of "latchkey kitties". Kinda like video games for bored kids, but less interaction. - joemofo214, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1Please don't teach them how to get and fire a weapon. Teach them how to smoke. Smoking monkeys rule, as seen here:

- tensaibaka, on 07/03/2009, -1/+2Don't show them the animated gif for OGC
- KarlH, on 07/03/2009, -1/+2Don't show them 2 Girls 1 Cup!
- ReallyFunGuy, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1What amazes me is that they have the capacity to translate what they see on video to being useful information. That requires abstract thought in order to translate 2D pictures to a depiction of reality. Animals such as cats and dogs cannot make sense of photographic or video imagery; to them, it is just masses of color and light. The responses of these animals is limited to motion; ie if something flies across the screen, a cat may bat at it because of the movement only.
- barbapapa78, on 07/03/2009, -1/+2Don't show them the internet!
- inactive, on 07/03/2009, -1/+1Maybe Son Gokou will evolve out of this. I really would like to see, hear, and read more stories about Son Gokou and his travels.
- wastelander, on 07/03/2009, -2/+1I wonder what would happen if they showed them a video of a chimp eating a woman's face?
- VYc4nism4joris, on 07/01/2009, -1/+0a nutless monkey can do their job....seriously....a nutless monkey.....
- Y0tsuya, on 07/03/2009, -2/+1I don't know about the rest of you but I for one welcome our copycat chimpanzee overlords.
