- RudeTurnip, on 07/21/2008, -1/+22I once traveled back in time with this guy. He had only done it once before and only paid me when we got back. My safety was not guaranteed and I had to bring my own weapons.
- MetalGear7, on 07/21/2008, -5/+24Are you kidding me? A freakin Wikipedia article whats next a digg link to Google?
- jhandfield, on 07/21/2008, -0/+17Does this mean that we'll soon see the daily featured article on the Digg front page every morning, along with xkcd comics and the like?
- BoneheadFarker, on 07/21/2008, -0/+15John Titor...
- r2builder, on 07/21/2008, -0/+15Anybody that hasn't seen the movie "Primer" should stop doing what they're doing at the moment, and go rent/download it. You'll thank me.
- louiebaur, on 07/21/2008, -3/+17Nice man mix it up with wikipedia every now and again that works:-)
- Myholyleg, on 07/21/2008, -1/+14PS: I've only done this once before.
- WiretapStudios, on 07/21/2008, -0/+13Sweet, now anyone digging this can also edit the content as they see fit. Great Scott!

- airwalkery2k, on 07/21/2008, -0/+9I'm at Digg because I got bored of surfing Wikipedia. Now you are sending me back there? What is this paradox?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia - MaynardsTool, on 07/21/2008, -0/+7Like Dethklock's time travel plastic bags. You simply place the plastic bags over your head, and enjoy the thrill of traveling through time at a rate of sixty seconds per minute.
- puppyfox, on 07/21/2008, -0/+7Just travel to exactly ten years from now and you will find a check and detailed instructions.
- TheOle, on 07/21/2008, -0/+7thanks BoneheadFarker. Digg always delivers. :) I was pretty interested in this phenomena from psychiological point of view. We want it so badly to be true, so we play along with his crazy predictions.
Direct link for easy access: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Titor - TheOle, on 07/21/2008, -0/+7Does anyone remember the name of that guy posting in forums a few years back, claiming to be a time traveler from the future? Both his story and the reactions were pretty interesting and got quite a bit of media fuzz.

- motdidr, on 07/21/2008, -6/+13Wow thanks for digging a wikipedia article?

- Seafea, on 07/21/2008, -0/+6I'm afraid it is happening, Marty. All of it.
- WiretapStudios, on 07/21/2008, -0/+6I have come from the future...to post in your forums...
- TremorX, on 07/21/2008, -1/+7How about I give you one gallon of gas, and in five years we'll call it even
- sparsely, on 07/21/2008, -0/+6John Titor, is that you?
- Seafea, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5This can't be happening, Doc.
- jeuhrn, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5I'll send it through time, you should get it about... tomorrow.
- inactive, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5You forgot to mention the latest cracked.com article.
- TreatsTheBear, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5I have a time machine it home.
It only goes forward.
At regular speed.
Demetri Martin - WebmastuhB, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5An excellent book on the subject is "The Time Ships" which is a 1995 science fiction novel by Stephen Baxter. The book is an authorized sequel to The Time Machine by H. G. Wells.
In 1891 the narrator of the story decides to return to the year 802,701, after the return from his first trip into the future. His plan is to save Weena, the Eloi who died in the fire with the Morlocks.
He finds that the future has somehow been changed; he believes it is somehow related to his actions. - jeuhrn, on 07/21/2008, -1/+5Whaevaeva, man, I'm time travelling all the time.
- BoneheadFarker, on 07/21/2008, -1/+5Does it come in the shape a Delorean?
- datastorageguy, on 07/21/2008, -0/+4Better than thinkprogress or Huffington post....
- auto98, on 07/21/2008, -0/+4gimmie the machine, i will travel back 100 years and deposit a few dollars in a bank account, then come back and pay you
hmm, the fact that i dont have millions of dollars means you can't be telling teh truth :s - TheOle, on 07/21/2008, -0/+4Thanks for the link. My time travel knowledge was getting a bit rusty.
- HolyJuan, on 07/21/2008, -1/+5Tips for meeting your future self:
http://www.holyjuan.com/2008/07/tips-for-meeting-y ... - DamnMan, on 07/21/2008, -0/+4I'm pretty sure in "general usage" forward movement though time is still "travel". Its like arguing that traveling west at 600 Mph isn't really traveling, just "shifting reference" to earths rotation. Technically from a 3rd party observer you would be stationary (give or take a few mph and degrees) but you would still sound like a pedantic jackass.
- roddack, on 07/21/2008, -1/+4really? a Wiki article on front page? For shame
- Ghorkvos, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3This article needs additional citations for verification.
- fas2, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3Time travel implies TIME TRAVEL. Not travel back in time.
- crapmatic, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3Well, apparently, whatever brings in the Diggs. I guess I'll post a link to news.google.com since there's probably some good stories in there.
- ObamaWins08, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3Old, but always good for a look:
http://www.myconfinedspace.com/2007/02/08/time-tra ... - Bots, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3WANTED: Somebody to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You'll get paid after we get back. You must bring your own weapons. Safety not guaranteed. I have only done this once before.
