- Mesach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The 10 Quality Hillary Duff photos are better.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great pics!
- dongiaconia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hopefully someday I will be able to see something like that. (It actually reminds me of a bad sci-fi movie or a video game)
No wonder people believed the "Gods were mad" sometimes way back in history. Seeing something like that and not understanding anything about it would lead most people to think something is 'cosmicly wrong' - ccheath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"photos of ... photos"
YIPEE! - fatlip, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i'm pissed i've been missing these for 22 years.
how long do those things last and how often do they appear? - dbre2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow...haven't seen ones with that much color before.
Some less-than-breathtaking ones I took last year:

DIGG+ - simolinic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Could do with higher-resolution versions, but perhaps I am spoiled.
- jnorris441, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wouldn't that degrade the quality?

- kidlinux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The one thing those picutes don't show you is the amount of movement there is - it's like the sky is dancing!

- Joggl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0one word: beautiful! dugg.
- sn0wflake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where's the high-resolution images. Kind of pointless without those.

I can see this few times a month (over the winter time). If I'm lucky.

DICK. - touchdowns, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've always wanted to see the northern lights. It looks like one heck of a natural light show.

Icelanders like to thing that we have the smallest metropolitan area in the world =)
We are only 300.000 and 50% of the people lives in the capital area.
Most things are open 24/7, and yes we have a metropolitan area :P hehe..
About computers.
Icelande has the second most internet useage in the world (Fnnland is nr. 1)
We have most high speed internet connections and our goverment has most of it's services online.
We are planing an Hydrogen economy... Well we are one of the most techno friendly nation in the world :)
you are american right?
Don't piss on your neighbour in the north. - ChipCuccio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Gorgeous. Excellent photography. Well-presented.
+ digg - jool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Beautiful they are, but pictures really doesn't do them justice. When you see them it is really hypnotic. One of the few perks of living far north, the cold sure isn't.
- craz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Those are quite beautiful, wish we had them out in Rhode Island :(
