Biometric Scans Find U.S. Crooks in Iraq, Afghanistan

blog.wired.com — Biometrics are used to find insurgents and crooks in Iraq and Afghanistan, via fingerprints and other identifiers matched to one or more databases. FBI and military officials note that these detainees have criminal arrest records in the United States. Useful tool for law enforcement or opening for "heinous violations of civil liberties"?
