- Crazysticks, on 04/13/2009, -16/+78In other news, Bible-thumping pro-lifers today celebrated the birth of a 21 year old baby.
- TriZz, on 04/13/2009, -0/+44Does this mean that the kid comes out old enough to drink?
- Dinsdale77, on 04/13/2009, -2/+38That cold, cold bastard.
- jh4rms, on 04/13/2009, -2/+35I bet he'll get the chills when his mother tells him he was frozen for 21 years.
- i4ybrid, on 04/13/2009, -1/+26How can I use this process to prevent freezer burn in my ground beef?
- miitch, on 04/13/2009, -1/+26The Child will grow up to be a Dinosaur
- RumpleForeskin3, on 04/13/2009, -0/+20Beat off on it?
- inactive, on 04/13/2009, -1/+13You know, you could sell your computer on ebay and give the funds to a child protection charity. It'd save energy, save children and save us from having to deal with ***** trolls like you; it's a win-win for everyone!
- dygel, on 04/13/2009, -1/+13Read the article. Dad never nutted in a cup for money. Dad nutted in a cup because "Dad" was 16 at the time and being treated for leukemia. Know what radiation does to your nuts?
- Smokeydabear, on 04/13/2009, -2/+13Now if they could use some of the sperm on my pre-70s playboys, that would be some super science.
- likwidfuzion, on 04/13/2009, -0/+11Icy what you did there.
- albundy, on 04/13/2009, -1/+11Father sued for Child Support...
- XkenX87, on 04/13/2009, -0/+10and what does he do?
- Scrappy1850, on 04/13/2009, -0/+9he already owes 21 years of child support
- gotyourqueen, on 04/13/2009, -0/+9George Bluth?
- dygel, on 04/13/2009, -0/+9Since the father is also the donor, that will be very easy to answer.
- Mockylock, on 04/13/2009, -0/+8I hope nobody lets the hookers know that there's an option of getting their favorite drink "on the rocks".
- staticfire, on 04/13/2009, -0/+8how so?
- thefox84, on 04/13/2009, -1/+8Was it Dr. Evil's son?
- inactive, on 04/13/2009, -0/+7Don't be silly, masturbation is a sin!
- Antimatter85, on 04/13/2009, -0/+6Name: John Connor
- danieltobey, on 04/13/2009, -4/+10Does a baby formed from 21 year old sperm taste just as good as a fresh one?
- Lefts, on 04/13/2009, -0/+6That's not right either. Half of DNA is conserved in mitosis. Theoretically, a sperm could have DNA older than itself, its father, and his father.
And averaging out ages? That doesn't even make any sense. And besides, we've clearly defined our ages in time after we make our escape from the uterus. - ChileanGoD, on 04/13/2009, -2/+8♫ alright stop!...collaborate and listen...
- PixelMagic, on 04/13/2009, -0/+5So do I. :(
- wizzahd, on 04/13/2009, -0/+5ROOAAARRRRRR!
- anthropodeus, on 04/13/2009, -5/+10so if life "begins" at conception, doesn't that imply that it wasnt begun before that, meaning the sperm and egg were dead? but the sperm and egg were alive the whole time. life never "began" because it never ended in the first place. where you choose to draw the line is arbitrary, but where you draw the line can also be pragmatic. for example, you could say life "starts" when the fetus' nervous system is developed and it is able to feel pain.
then we get in to this question: what is the difference between a human fetus that can feel pain and an adult cow that can feel pain? but you dont see many anti-abortionists who are vegetarians . . . - dygel, on 04/13/2009, -0/+5If you're going by chromosomal age, you need to remember that only half of the child's chromosomes came from the frozen sperm - the egg was fresh. So, you'd have to average it out: the child would only be 10.5 at birth.
- Nairebis, on 04/13/2009, -0/+5@anthropedeus -- PLEASE stop making the non-religious look like idiots. "Life" means a HUMAN individual with the capability to grow into an adult. A newly created set of human genetics begins at conception. That is inarguable physical fact. The only question is where we decide a potential human is mature enough to be viable.
- rolf, on 04/13/2009, -0/+4Nocturnal emission.
- aristotle0dude, on 04/13/2009, -6/+10Crazysticks, were you dropped on your head as a child? A distinct life with distinct genes begins at conception.

Science is being ruined by bigoted atheist fanboys like you. Go fap to your poster of Dawkins. - nutzngum, on 04/13/2009, -0/+4i read the title of the post and my first thought was "i wonder if the kid's going to be strangely drawn to neon legwarmers and broad shouldered turquoise sports coats"...and then thought ... "and flock of seagulls hair..."
- gambl0r, on 04/13/2009, -3/+7In other news, you are retarded. What does pro-life have to do with anything? "Bible-thumping pro-lifers" would believe that the child's life starts at conception, not when the sperm is produced and/or frozen.
- SkippyDoorknob, on 04/13/2009, -0/+3Frosty the Snowman
- inactive, on 04/13/2009, -1/+4At least they spared him the pain of having to grow up around Limp Bizkit and Creed.
- kdepa, on 04/13/2009, -0/+3They freeze it using something like liquid nitrogen - it freezes too fast for ice crystals to form. If ice were to form, due to water expansion the cells would burst, and wouldn't be viable for anything.
- gllopc, on 04/13/2009, -0/+3Nah - a paradox would involve going back in time. The weirdest thing that could come out of this, other than the fact that it's a 21-year-old sample, is that she was more than likely born the aunt of a 21+ year old niece or nephew.

- SpinningHead, on 04/13/2009, -1/+3The hairs left in my sink after shaving have unique individual genetics.
- misterrock, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2So he can legally drink, right?
- inactive, on 04/13/2009, -3/+5Buried as inaccurate... there is no God.
- cperezcr, on 04/13/2009, -2/+4I bet octomom wanted this....
- uhmlol, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2Never promise crazy a baby!
- PopcornDave, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2Apparently not, at least not at the moment. The long term ramifications, if any, have yet to be seen.
- mparker21311, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2We're going to hear more and more of this type of thing in the future. I think it's interesting!
- Fleagleman, on 04/13/2009, -0/+2I believe that the sperm was originally frozen when Ignignokt was using the Foreigner belt.
