- stutimandal, on 11/30/2008, -1/+48Is it getting delayed or am I experiencing time dilation?
- wildest, on 11/30/2008, -0/+30Such a shame, cant wait to see what they find!
- diggeek82, on 11/30/2008, -2/+27A failure a day keeps the overlords at bay!
- toastgodsupreme, on 11/30/2008, -5/+25I eagerly await our new overlords from another dimension. The anticipation is the hardest part.
- gozroth, on 12/01/2008, -0/+14as long as it doesn't create a Xen relay, that's all I care about.
- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -1/+10It's not going to work until 2012. When it does, we're all dead anyway.
- rojano17, on 12/01/2008, -1/+9If they delay it until December 2012 I'm taking my crowbar down there to kick their asses.
- thatsgoodkarma, on 11/30/2008, -0/+8Bummer.
- EliteEagle, on 12/01/2008, -2/+9Just a little closer to 2012

- zoydberg, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4FRY: So, while you're on the Probulator, tell me, what brings you to the future?
MAN: Oh, well, I wanted to meet Shakespeare and I figured that time was cyclical.
FRY: Nope. Straight line. Ah, the Probulator's done. - Paulorific, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4The anticipation is so annoying. The only thing worse than the anticipation would be if it works but they don't find anything. :(
- ryanhayn, on 12/01/2008, -1/+5One more vote for 2012.
- itsradBrad, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3The most valid cure to the credit crisis proposed so far.
- Kragnerac, on 12/01/2008, -1/+4Well, we can at least cherish our last year before the headcrabs come.
- Mootabolife, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3They're waiting for you Gordon.... in the test chamber..
- Novusuna, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3On the one hand, it isn't surprising. The LHC is a very sophisticated machine, so it needs to be working as close to perfectly as it can. Anything breaking or going wrong will naturally delay the project. On the other hand, of course, I'm really looking forward to the time when it will finally be turned on. I want to see what we discover with it.
- lukis100, on 12/01/2008, -1/+3Cern seems to be bent on destroying the world.

- AmnesiacJack, on 12/01/2008, -1/+3Can't wait for this to come back to fully operational. I'm extremely excited to see the results of the tests and hope they finally find the Higgs Particle.
- rebrad, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Don't worry. They will get the LHC fully operational in 2012.

- o0joshua0o, on 12/01/2008, -0/+1Am I the only one worried about the possibility of unintended consequences?
- krnldmp, on 12/01/2008, -2/+3Just goes to show you that at every level of design there are mistakes and failures. Some of those experiments look like life's work paired with bleeding edge technology. The only surprising thing is they expected it to work already.
- AlaskaLoneWolf, on 12/01/2008, -5/+6I think it's working fine. They already made the breakthrough, and they are hiding the raw data from the rest of the scientific community. Selfish Euros...
