- silver26, on 07/14/2008, -6/+4cool really is this
- locojones, on 07/14/2008, -1/+6Buried as inaccurate. Nothing in the article mentions anything about curing tuberculosos. In fact, all it says is that scientists and archaeologists are working on bones of a very early urban population to study their susceptibility or resistance to tuberculosis.
- JacobParker, on 07/14/2008, -7/+2***** is leary lol co
Anagrams rock lol - blackjack75, on 07/14/2008, -1/+9I don't see TeraBytes as a problem that needs curing. If anything I haven't got enough.
- duckyinc, on 07/14/2008, -0/+4"'Historical clues are also useful. We can study the skeletons of bubonic plague victims because we know many were buried in special communal graves.'"
Now explain how you are going to cure TB? - swmianon, on 07/14/2008, -2/+3"A real-life version of 'Bonekickers'"? WTF is the fictional version?
Guess you have to be from the UK for that one to make sense.- Javamancer, on 07/14/2008, -0/+1Nope, I'm in the UK and I've never heard of Bonekickers.

Sorry, but the article seems just as speculative as any other article coming from the guardian. - CYG101, on 07/14/2008, -0/+4I'd rather they find the cure for TBA
- SiXiam, on 07/14/2008, -3/+1Fools! All of you.
Think for one second before writing.
Digg Translation = Maybe the best way to attack Linux is to find vulnerabilities in Unix
Do you think that we are just going to be handed a cure for the diseases of the world?
It takes research and lot's of it to relieve the suffering.
Example:
If we know that 2000 years ago the symptoms of TB were very different then they are today, then that means the genetic structure has changed and adapted. However, if the symptoms are similar then the basic virus or bacteria hasn't changed much and will be easier to fight.
Remember that the older generation may contain the keystone in fighting the new generation...- duckyinc, on 07/14/2008, -0/+1"However, if the symptoms are similar then the basic virus or bacteria hasn't changed much and will be easier to fight."
How about you explain all your BS, If it's the same why would it be any easier?
"Remember that the older generation may contain the keystone in fighting the new generation!"
Ye, that's why everyone gets cured by ancient weeds instead of drugs- SiXiam, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1AIDS = constantly changing and hard to fight
Keystone has what to do with ancient weeds?
I was thinking specifics, not ancient treatments....

- gravityzero, on 07/14/2008, -0/+1I thought there was already a cure for TB? Just thought some idiots were stopping their meds when they felt better, causing more resistant strains.
