- jezsik, on 07/15/2009, -6/+12Why am I not surprised that this study came out of MIT? The research was surely done by geek guys who had never lived with a girl.
- Amlethus, on 07/15/2009, -0/+5Yeah, this is the third time this headline has popped up to the front page today. I guess diggers really like brain news.

- mitthuman, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2First thought I had while reading this article: the bridge between science and yoga/acupuncture/meditation...is that wierd?
- awokenbymyfears, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2Unfortunately it also only takes 2 seconds for Digg users to forget this is the third time this article has been posted...
- pegothejerk, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2I beg of you, I will pay you to leave those women to gene pools that are NOT willing to continue the barbaric practice of treating women like property. Nah, just kidding. I'm too broke to care what you do.

Well actually thats true - DanThe1Man, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2Wow, the brain has dark fiber.

- HimThatSpeaks, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2I read this book "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell that talks a lot about how we make decisions at both conscious and subconscious levels. Awesome book. I find it good though that there is hope for all the Fox News viewers. I really want to think they are good people and are just misled at the time. They are not bad people.
- itsmikey, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2if you have ever dabbled in lsd, you already know this. ha

have you ever suddenly realized that your opinions on a topic have changed, though you can't say why or when it happened? - Metadrew, on 07/15/2009, -1/+2I am going to digg this article...
No, I'm going to bury it. - daschupa, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1Man, wish I could have seen a video of the brain changing during that whole 2 girls 1 cup craze.
- acknotSW, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1I can easily believe this. I've played pool for most of my life and I've gotten fairly good at it, no where near pro level, but I can string together a few racks when I'm on my game. When I'm playing at my best, I don't think the same way as I do when I'm not playing well. I can hit the same shots and get the same positions so it's not an execution problem, but I don't play the table as a whole system the way I do when I'm running out rack after rack. It's hard to describe, but after playing several times per week for well over 25 years, I can tell that there is a definite difference in the way my brain operates when I'm on and when I'm off.
- PhoenixEclectus, on 07/16/2009, -0/+0Not magic? Really? Cuz I always thought MIT stood for Magicians Institute of Technology.......
...never woulda thunk they did actual science! - wendydawn, on 07/15/2009, -4/+2LOL - That is pretty interesting though.
