- rousehouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3All of those freakin' conspiracy theories have been explain away dozens of times. It's a tragedy that those brave astronauts have their records tarnished by the mere suggestion.
For those of you who have remaining doubts, take a look at these links.

- zonemen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah the abandanded spaceships that crashed into the moon in 1964 (with no people on board).
"In 1964, trying to duplicate what Russia had done back in 1959, America launched the Ranger VII, which took pictures of the moon and then crash-landed into it."

But, there are some very compelling points on the side of the doubters. One I remember is the fact that they took still pictures with Hasselblad still cameras which had no shielding to prevent the film stock from being wiped out by the very high radiation they would have experienced on the moon (seeing it has no atmosphere to filter it). The pictures from the moon missions on the NASA site are spectacularly clear. Go figure.
- cal0001, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1see http://science.nasa.gov/ for a prety good NASA podcast
- randokam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1unfortunately, no matter what happens, some moron out there is gonna
continue to think it was a fake... consipracy theories like that won't just go away.... - Gills, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i feel the same. for me it was a photo of 2, supposedly, different hills. one with equipment on in, one without. superimpose the 2 images on top of each other, it's the exact same hill. if they take photos that conclusively show they landed on the moon, then i'll be happy.
- void, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Id like to see pics of the flag and footprints, to prove man made it there. Could just be photoshoped in tho. Wish there was a powerful enough telescope here to see it.
- rpieratt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Maybe they'll be able to see the other crafts that crashed onto the moon from other countries. Maybe that info could be used to update the Mars Scorecard (http://www.bio.aps.anl.gov/~dgore/fun/PSL/) with a Moon entry.
- mastershake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hmm, seem to remember there being something on the moon relaying sattelite signals back to earth, but whatever.
- hater2win, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, ive always wanted to see more evidence about the whole hoax thing... i remember seeing something on the discovery channel once, but yeah, that was years ago.
- itwasalie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Personally I think it was a hoax. It doesn't mean I am an idiot or a moron. It means I have an opinion that differs from yours. That's ok. Right? If everyone had the same opinion on everything it would kind of suck. I went to the badastronomy link. Honestly I was unimpressed. The first thing I did was see who this guy is. I found a few things that interested me. 1. He says "I am currently working on a NASA-sponsored public outreach program " Hmmm and he defends NASA. How weird. 2. He has never been to outer space and never walked on the moon. (at least from what I read) I admit I didn't go through his whole website. 3. HIS quote "I was (and still am) an avid amateur." & "Finally, am I really a bad astronomer? I don't think so! I would say I am an average one"
So before we go taking this guys word as credible.... also consider that he may not know what he is talking about. He MAY just be a man that has an opinion too. Most of his "PROOF" that we landed is all based on opinion since he has never been to outer space or walked on the moon. Also (based on what I do for a living) SOME of the things that he says .... ARE dead wrong. I don't work in space... but I do work in pictures..... Not outer space pictures taken from men on the moon.... but then again .... neither does he. LOL. Anyway.... get mad at me if you wish. My crime is not believing EVERYTHING I am told to believe. I have an opinion that differs from yours. How sad that people get MAD at you for that. - SkeletaLlama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's a fake, we never went to the moon, it's all a hoax, a hoax I say!!
- Guano, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Man, NASA sure did a really good job of shutting up those hundreds of people who took part in those faked moon landings.
- Musicdgamer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This will finally shut up all of the conspiracy theorists that believe that we never went to the moon.
- deadpixel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why aren't there already photos of the stuff we were supposed to have left on the moon?
- dbrodbeck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I really suggest that you anti intellectual anti science morons that do not believe that there were astronauts went to the moon check out badastronomy.com and also the excellent treatment of this and other moronic conspiracy theories on Penn and Teller's '*****'
- napalm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I bet the find the lunar lander up on blocks stripped and "Kang was here!" spray-sublimated on the side.
- Mr.Fancy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0do I smell Google Moon? No, no I don't.
- FunkyGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0finally they will shut up about this. I have heard alot of evidence about it, but I mean if NASA is going to send a sattlite to take pictures of the moon this better shut them up. I bet when this there will be crap like "they never launches a sattlite"
- robsta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd like some hard cold evidence it wasn't a hoax.
- salome191, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0we never went to the moon. end of story.
- Jortega, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I completely agree with you "rousehouse"
- flubba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ummm... kinda cool. maybe they'll get some good pics ;)
- Gavin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"It's a fake, we never went to the moon, it's all a hoax, a hoax I say!!"
Im srry but you can shot a laser at a refactor on the moon left by the astrnots and the laser will come back! Anyway this is great a new prob is going to the moon! Could this mean a google moon could be coming out soon? - xalax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So Hubble can view stars from millions of light years away but it can't see a rover on the moon?!?
