or is this a 2nd build of it - HowitZer21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That would be so sweet to have mounted in your house somewhere.
- Rasz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is essentially an advertisment for someones auction!
- haloevo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+032k... that's pretty sad.
- clumsyninja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They're bidding more then what my car is worth, though. 0_0
- suMMx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow, insane. I have the millenium falcon and its pretty damn big. I couldnt imagine that in person
- colinodell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dupe
- kiwimonk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nobody should trip out on duplicates. i've never seen two of the same thing on the main page. dig is huge. so is the internet.. in fact. all these links have links on other sites. why do we even need dig? i could just scour the entire net and find everything myself.
- Clonetrooper965, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very friggin cool....wonders about possible death star....
- sook, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0*waits for the emperor's personal flagship*
let's see, if its the same scale, it would be about 17 times as big, so 56' - jonny5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0just dont drop it :)
- kramit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0omfg! wonder how long that took to build
- Nesh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This was on display here in Indy at Celebration 3. It's very impressive to see in person. It's mounted on one of those brackets they use to mount car engines on.
- Eschel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0OK, it's cool looking, but why is it in the science category rather than the deals category? Not that it's much of a deal, but this is still about something for sale.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Heh, cant wait for it to show up from UPS in about 10 billion pieces.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lucas authenticating it is what's really getting the price up.
- MrMysterious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All fun and game until you come home one day to find that your 4 year old took the thing all apart.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool!!
- LoganKriete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"You guys are idiots. Why does it matter if it's a dupe? People find it interesting. It should be about the links and not an ego game between posters."
zelphi - dupes are overall hurting to the environment of digg. 1) it takes up more space in the DB to store all the info as to who dugg a dupe, who commented, what the comments are, the scores of those comments, if some people wish not to see some of those comments, etc.; 2) Your point "People find it interesting [...] it should be about the links" is interesting. So you're saying that, if "Star Trek" was suddenly revived out of no where for another 12 seasons, then people posting 47 stories, all linking to the same site, and all stories reaching the front page, is a good thing? It most certainly is not. It takes away valuable space for more relevant and important news. I thought that this morning's story on Seagate & Maxtor was *much* more important than a stupid 8-foot lego ship which was cool when it was first submitted, but not anymore.
I like ext237's idea. I'm gonna go back and digg the original, not this one. - Abx0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They will probably personally deliver it, to ensure safety.
- macbayboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Heh, cant wait for it to show up from UPS in about 10 billion pieces."
LOL@ It Actually comes in pieces and you have to put it together yourself by following the four pictures on the back of the box. - zelphi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0You guys are idiots. Why does it matter if it's a dupe? People find it interesting. It should be about the links and not an ego game between posters.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0***** thats big and a rip off
